Christoph Vogelsang
Christoph Vogelsang

First, Christoph Vogelsang raised to 480,000 from the button and Anatoly Filatov three-bet to 2,200,000 in the big blind. Vogelsang took some time and when there were 2 seconds left on the shot clock, Vogelsang announced he was all-in. Filatov contemplated for a few seconds and then opted to fold.

Then Vogelsang raised to 430,000 from the cutoff and Filatov three-bet to 2,200,000 in the small blind. Matthias Eibinger folded his big blind and Vogelsang made the call.

The flop came {2-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}{6-Spades}, Filatov continued with a bet of 1,300,000 and Vogelsang responded with a raise to 2,700,000. Filatov considered his options and then made the call.

They both checked through the {k-Spades} on the turn and the {6-Clubs} on the river. Filatov tabled {a-Hearts}{5-Spades} for the flopped pair of fives but he was beat by Vogelsang who held {10-Spades}{10-Diamonds} to scoop the pot.

Filatov Loses Small Hand

Level 15 : 100,000/200,000, 200,000 ante

Anatoly Filatov has been raising from almost every position without getting much resistance during the bubble but in this hand, he raised to 400,000 from the cutoff and was called by both Matthias Eibinger on the button and Daniel Pidun in the small blind.

The flop came {10-Clubs}{k-Clubs}{4-Hearts}, Pidun check-called the 600,000 continuation-bet of Filatov while Eibinger folded.

They both checked through the {9-Spades} on the turn to the {10-Hearts} on the river. Both players checked again for Pidun to scoop the pot with {k-Spades}{j-Clubs} for two pair, kings and tens.

Grafton Stays Alive

Level 15 : 100,000/200,000, 200,000 ante

Phil Ivey opened to 400,000 from under the gun and Sam Grafton shoved all in for 865,000 on the button. The blinds folded and Ivey made the call to put Grafton at risk.

Sam Grafton: {8-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}
Phil Ivey: {a-Spades}{7-Spades}

The flop of {j-Hearts}{9-Spades}{6-Spades} provided more drama as Ivey flopped a flush draw. The {3-Hearts} on the turn and the {3-Clubs} on the river bricked off to give Grafton a double up.

"Nothing to see here," Grafton said as the other table swarmed around. "All you pigeons can go back to your own table."
