Adams Forced to Push Before His Big Blind

Level 13 : 60,000/120,000, 120,000 ante
Timothy Adams
Timothy Adams

Timothy Adams was down to around six big blind and he shoved all in for 745,000 from under the gun. Christoph Vogelsang looked him up on the button and the blinds folded.

Christoph Vogelsang: {a-Hearts}{8-Spades}
Timothy Adams: {9-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}

The flop of {q-Spades}{3-Hearts}{3-Clubs} was of no help to Adams who was looking to catch a nine. The {8-Hearts} on the turn provided some chop outs but the {q-Clubs} on the river was not going to cut it.

Jean-Noel Thorel raised to 200,000 in early position and was called by Paul Phua in the small blind and Daniel Negreanu in the big blind. The flop came {7-Spades}{2-Hearts}{2-Diamonds} and the action checked to Thorel who bet 300,000. Phua just called and Negreanu folded.

The turn was the {k-Clubs} and Phua checked again. Thorel tossed in a bet of 600,000 and Phua jammed all in for 1,420,000. Thorel thought about it and eventually made the call. Phua showed {a-Hearts}{a-Clubs} and Thorel was down to just two outs with {3-Spades}{3-Hearts}. The river was the {q-Diamonds} and Phua held on for a double up.

It's a Tony G Double Up!

Level 12 : 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante
Tony G

"It's a Tony G double up! A miracle Tony G double up!" you could hear shouted across the room. James Chen raised it up in the cutoff and Ole Schemion shipped all in from the small blind. Tony G stuck in the last of his 3,180,000 in the big blind and Chen folded.

Tony G: {a-Diamonds}{k-Hearts}
Ole Schemion: {a-}{j-}

The board ran out {q-Spades}{9-Hearts}{5-Spades}{4-Clubs}{3-Hearts} and Tony G's ace-king high was good enough to hold on for a double up. But that wasn't the end of the tirade from Tony G.

"A bunny doubled up through a German bot!" Tony G continued. "It's no longer fun when the bunny's got the gun. I'm giving hope to all recreational players," as he turned to give Paul Phua a fist pound.
