Kassouf And Tatar Among Casualties

Level 11 : 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante
William Kassouf
William Kassouf

With 77,500 in the middle and the turn showing {j-Clubs}{4-Clubs}{3-Spades}{6-Hearts}, Besmir Hodaj checked and Aymon Hata bet 100,000 to force a fold from Hodaj.

One hand later, Hata raised to 6,000 and Dragos Trofimov called from one seat over. William Kassouf in the big blind made it 22,000 to go and Trofimov was the only caller. On the {7-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds} flop, Kassouf continued for 33,000 to pick up a call. After the {5-Spades} turn, Kassouf check-folded to a push of Trofimov and was left with 56,500.

Those chips vanished shortly after and one table over, Marek Tatar also ran out of chips when he was eliminated by Orpen Kisacikoglu.

Rezaei Hits Skopalik with a Flush

Level 11 : 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

A big pot was built between Robert Skopalik, Daniel Rezaei and Per Reevcrona, with the flop reading {a-Hearts}{6-Spades}{4-Spades}. Skopalik was in the small blind and led for 12,000, Reevcrona raised to 37,000 from the hijack and Rezaei called from the button. Skopali continued with a raise to 60,500, which forced Reevcrona to fold, but Rezaei followed.

The {10-Spades} on the turn caused the rest of Rezaei's chips to be pushed in the middle and Skopalik saw his opponent opening {q-Spades}{8-Spades} with a flush, while he had {a-Diamonds}{10-Hearts} for top two.

The {3-Hearts} on the river didn't change anything and Rezaei doubled up.

Sushkin Sent Into a Frenzy

Level 10 : 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante
Enrico Camosci
Enrico Camosci

It was just Rafail Sushkin and Enrico Camosci heads-up in the blinds with the board reading {10-Hearts}{10-Clubs}{4-Clubs}{2-Spades}{7-Hearts}. Sushkin checked in the small blind and Camosci tossed in a bet of 100,000 into a pot of just 85,000.

Sushkin immediately covered his face with his hand and sat shaking his head. He thought for a minute before slamming in a call. Camosci whipped over {k-Hearts}{10-Diamonds} for trip tens which was good enough to beat Sushkin's {q-Hearts}{q-Clubs}. Sushkin slammed the table once more after he saw the outcome as he was left stewing over the beat.

Kessler Eliminated by Selinger

Level 10 : 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante
Allen Kessler
Allen Kessler

Down to around 48,000, Allen Kessler was all in and had a flip against Julian Selinger.

Allen Kessler: {7-Spades}{7-Hearts}
Julian Selinger: {a-Hearts}{q-Hearts}

The {10-Spades}{8-Spades}{5-Diamonds} flop changed nothing yet but Selinger picked up additional outs on the {9-Hearts} turn.

"Don't do this to me, no jack," Kessler said moments before the {q-Spades} river improved Selinger to a pair of queens.

"You will now be a bad beat story on his Twitter account," Simon Taberham in the eight seat joked to Selinger when the hand was over.

Mrakes Eliminates Glaser

Level 10 : 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante

The action folded to Michael Mrakes on the button who opted to just limp in. The small blind folded and Benny Glaser jammed all in for roughly 35,000 in the big blind. Mrakes quickly called and the cards were on their backs.

Michal Mrakes: {a-Clubs}{3-Hearts}
Benny Glaser: {k-Clubs}{q-Clubs}

The flop fell {a-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}{4-Spades} and Glaser hard-pressed to win the hand after Mrakes flopped a pair of aces. The {5-Diamonds} on the turn gave Glaser some hope with a straight draw but the {8-Clubs} on the river bricked off.
