Level 16 : Blinds 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

Lars Kamphues paid off a double to Kuljinder Sidhu for 168,000 and his cards were already in the muck. Sidhu's 77 were still exposed as the pair held on a board of K96K6. Serkan Kuru explained that Kamphues had jammed with ace-jack blind on blind.

Amsellem Snaps Off Eljach

Level 16 : Blinds 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante
Omar Eljach
Omar Eljach

Jacob Amsellem raised to 20,000 in early position before Omar Eljach three-bet to 105,000 in the small blind. Amsellem then four-bet to 250,000, Eljach moved all in, and Amsellem snap-called for 689,000.

Jacob Amsellem: AK
Omar Eljach: A2

Eljach was caught making a move and was dominated by Amsellem heading to the 104J flop.

"Five," Eljach pleaded as the 7 fell on the turn. "Deuce," he called for going to the river, but the dealer flipped over the 5 and Amsellem earned the massive double up and put a significant dent in Eljach's hopes of making a run at a repeat title.

Radicchi Employs Anti-Stalling Measures

Level 16 : Blinds 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

Andrea Radicchi raised from 20,000 and, after the clock was called on a player, Giuseppe Zarbo had called from the button. The action was then on Ilie Smintanca-Januszewski in the small blind, and he tanked for a while before the clock was called on him as well.

The floorman came over and gave Smintanca-Januszewski a 30-second countdown, which he patiently awaited before his hand was declared dead.

Armin Razaei then also came along from the big blind, and Radicchi's continuation-bet of 65,000 on the 367 flop garnered two folds, awarding him the pot.

Afterward, Radicchi argued a bit with Smintanca-Januszewski about his tanking, which seemed to haved died down a bit as no further floorpersons have been called over since.

"I am the best sub ten big blind player in the world," [Removed:446] joked after he had just scored a double through Christian Rudolph.

Heads-up on a flop of 910J, Rehman Kassam bet 25,000 from the button before Hal Rotholz raised to 80,000 in the big blind. Kassam then moved all in and Rotholz called for around 200,000 more.

Hal Rotholz: Q4
Rehman Kassam: Q8

Rotholz was on a straight draw, but Kassam already had the straight as the 7 fell on the turn. The 10 river improved Kassam to a flush and Rotholz was sent to the rail.

Radicchi Gives One Up

Level 16 : Blinds 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

Chipleader Andrea Radicchi was involved in yet another pot. This time, there were 100,000 chips in the middle on a board of J52A. Radicchi then made a bet of 81,000 from the hijack before his opponent Christopher Panetti put in 225,000 chips from the button, leaving only 29,000 behind.

Radicchi quickly mucked his cards, and a rare loss was booked by him on Day 3.

Level 16 : Blinds 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante
Alex Keating
Alex Keating

Thore-Fabian Kunze's rough level just came to a crashing halt as Kunze, who had more than 1,000,000 at the last break, was left with zero after tangling with Alex Keating.

Keating raised to 20,000 in early position, then called when Kunze moved all in for 180,000 in the cutoff.

Thore-Fabian Kunze: AK
Alex Keating: 55

Kunze was racing for his tournament life and watched as the board ran out Q6772. Keating's fives stayed in the lead and Kunze stopped to snap a photo of the board before heading for the exit.

Kunze Suffers Another Setback

Level 16 : Blinds 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

Svajunas Seduikis pushed all-in for 266,000 in the hijack and Jean Gessis on the button asked for a count, then reluctantly folded. Thore-Fabian Kunze reraised by moving forward all his T-25,000 chips and Stephen Chidwick in the big blind folded.

Svajunas Seduikis: AA
Thore-Fabian Kunze: 99

"Ace queen," Gessis mentioned in the table chat.

There was no threat for the aces on the Q76 flop but the 8 turn brought with it a hefty sweat. However, the 6 river was a blank and Seduikis sighed a breath of relief.
