Astedt's Comeback Begins

Level 17 : Blinds 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante
Niklas Mikael Aastedt
Niklas Mikael Aastedt

Niklas Astedt was all-in from the small blind for 12,000 on a flop of 332. Enrico Camosci checked from the big blind and Roman Hrabec followed suit with a check from early position. Pavel Svach bet 30,000 from the button, which forced a fold from Camosci, but a check-raise to 80,000 from Hrabec. Svach called.

The 4 came on the turn and Hrabec opted to check-fold to a bet of 80,000 from Svach. Svach would win the main pot and the cards were revealed, with Astedt needing a lot of help.

Niklas Astedt: Q2 All in
Pavel Svach: 54

Astedt needed to find a queen or a deuce on the river or he would bust the Main Event. The dealer dropped a miracle 2 on the river to give Astedt the best hand with a boat. Astedt's response to rivering the winner was:

"The comeback is real boys"
