Level 29 : Blinds 80,000/160,000, 160,000 ante

Matthias Gude jammed the button and collected the blinds.

Josef Gulas raised to 1,000,000 for the vast majority of his short stack in the next hand, forcing both blinds to fold.

Georgios Tsouloftas claimed the blinds with a raise to 330,000 from under the gun.

Darius Neagoe made it 320,000 to go on the button. Tsouloftas jammed for around 3.5 million in the big blind and Neagoe folded.

Level 29 : Blinds 80,000/160,000, 160,000 ante

Georgios Tsouloftas limped in from the button, and Scott Reynolds and Rene Schnitzler came along from the blinds.

Small Pots Before the Break

Level 28 : Blinds 60,000/120,000, 120,000 ante

Chip leader Rene Schnitzler raised to 250,000 and Antonio Fragale just called in the big blind. On the K106 flop, Fragale check-called for 200,000 before they checked down the 6 turn and 10 river.

Fragale tabled the AQ, but Schnitzler had that beat with the K3.

Elia Salerno opened to 240,000 and Georgios Tsouloftas defended the big blind to check-fold against a bet of 170,000 on the AJ6 flop.

In the last hand of the level, Darius Neagoe made it 250,000 to go and Scott Reynolds came along in the big blind.

The K95 flop was checked by Reynolds and he said "it feels like we have been there before" to Neagoe, who smirked. Neagoe bet 185,000 and Reynolds called. They headed to the Q turn on which Reynolds check-folded when Neagoe fired a second barrel for 575,000.

Below are the updated counts of the final eight players and their respective big blinds in the next level.

Kevin Fluegel opened to 240,000 from the cutoff, and received a call from Rene Schnitzler on the button. Short-stack Christian Schneider was in the big blind, and he called, leaving himself 180,000 behind.

On the 963 flop, action was checked to Schnitzler, who fired out a bet of 375,000. Schneider moved all in for his 180,000, before Fluegel responded with a raise to 1,200,000, leaving himself almost nothing behind. Schnitzler immediately rejammed and Fluegel called off.

Fluegel was ahead with his overpair tens, while Schneider had a flush draw, and Schnitzler had top pair nines.

The 5 turn was a brick, but the 9 hit on the river to give Schnitzler trip nines and a double knockout, setting a final table of eight.

A short break will take place while the final table is prepared.
