Heads-up to the turn on a board of 9♣J♣4♥3♣ that saw Adrian State check from the big blind and face a bet of 11,000 by Iago Savino out of the cutoff. State mulled it over for quite some time and then chose to call.

A fourth club fell on the river in the form of the 5♣, causing both players to check. State was first to show his J♠4♠ for two pair, and Savino mucked.

Lulei Hu had opened from under the gun and Hans Thumann called from the small blind.

On the 4♣J♥6♥ flop, Thumann checked and Hu continued for 6,000. Thumann then stuck in a raise to 16,000, which Hu called to the 2♥ turn. Both checked to the Q♣ river, where they knuckled it to showdown.

Thumann then revealed a pair of jacks with J♠9♠, and that was good for the pot as Hu mucked.

Blasko Keeps His Seat in the Main Event

Szabolcs Kukucska made it 6,500 from middle position and Marek Blasko three-bet to 15,000 from the hijack. Kukucska called to see a flop.

The players checked the A♣2♥3♥ flop to see the 8♥ roll off on the turn. Kukucska checked and then called Blasko's bet of 3,000.

Kukucska checked for the last time on the 6♦ river, and Blasko bet his last 1,000. Kukucska called and was shown A♥Q♠ by Blasko for a pair of aces. Kukucska was forced to show that he had called down with Q♦J♦ for quen-high.

A pot of 54,500 had developed by the river, on a board of Q♠10♦4♥Q♥A♦, in a hand between Boris Kuzmanovic in early position and Adrian Cazacu in the big blind.

Cazacu fired out a bet of 25,000, but was pained when Kuzmanovic raised to 125,000, covering Cazacu's remaining 50,000 stack.

Cazacu went into the tank, and after around 90 seconds, folded with frustration.

Suenbuel Has Kicker Problems

Once Shylko checked the 10♣A♠5♠ flop, Suenbuel bet 19,500. Shylko paused momentarily before making the call.

A 9♠ on the turn caused Shylko to check again. Suenbuel jammed, and Shylko called for his remaining 40,000, putting himself at risk.

Aiguo Xu opened under the gun and picked up two callers in Benedikt Zeyher on the button & Josef Gulas in the small blind.

The flop came down 9♥7♦3♥ and when it checked to Zeyher, he bet 8,500. Both Gulas and Xu called to the 7♠ turn, where it again checked to Zeyher. This time he bet 25,500, which Gulas called, but got Xu to fold.

On the 9♠ river, Gulas led for 35,000, which sent Zeyher into the tank. Around 2 minutes passed before the clock was called, and just as the countdown was about to begin, Zeyher called.

Gulas then showed a full house with Q♦9♦, and Zeyher shook his head as he mucked.
