Patrik Jaros
Patrik Jaros

After two checks on the 2A4 flop, Patrik Jaros bet 8,000 from middle position and Bastian Gallitzendoerfer called from the big blind. Michail Manolakis check-jammed for 37,000 from early position and Jaros put in another raise, forcing Gallitzendoerfer to fold.

Michail Manolakis: QJ All in
Patrik Jaros: A3

Manolakis held a flush draw against the top pair of Jaros. Manolakis remained unimproved on the 7 turn and 4 river, which meant all of his chips were absorbed into Jaros' stack.

Strauss Vanquishes Velvelt in Cooler

Level 9 : Blinds 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante
Tyson Strauss
Tyson Strauss

Tyson Strauss opened to 4,000 under the gun, and received a call from Bastian Gallitzendoerfer in the next seat, before Urmo Velvelt produced a three-bet to 20,000 from the small blind.

Strauss reached for chips to produce a small four-bet to 32,000, and Gallitzendoerfer called. Velvelt took advantage of the fact action had been reopened to five-bet jam for 141,000 total.

Strauss rejammed, and Gallitzendoerfer sighed, and quickly open-folded 1010.

Urmo Velvelt: KK All in
Tyson Strauss: AA

In a brutal cooler, Velvelt had run cowboys into rockets, and there was no escape on the Q1078J runout, the regret plain to see on Gallitzendoerfer's face when the ten hit on the flop.

Emilien Pitavy
Emilien Pitavy

Shaun Deeb made it 4,000 on the button with Zdenek Zizka calling from the small blind. Emilien Pitavy squeezed it up to 18,000 from the big blind, causing Deeb to four-bet to 45,000. Zizka folded, but Pitavy five-bet jammed for 150,500. Deeb snap-called with the covering stack.

Emilien Pitavy : AQ All in
Shaun Deeb: AK

Pitavy was in rough shape with ace-queen against the big slick of Deeb and needed some hearts or a queen to survive.

The dealer fanned out a flop of Q58, propelling Pitavy into the lead with top pair. Deeb picked up some extra outs in the form of a gutshot on the J turn, but the 7 on the river was a brick.

Pitavy doubled to around 300,000, while Deeb was left with 75,000.
