Double-Up for Tamasauskas

Level 9 : Blinds 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante
Vladas Tamasauskas
Vladas Tamasauskas

Vladas Tamasauskas opened to 4,000 under the gun, and received calls from Roland Haddad in the cutoff, and Petru Tarlev in the big blind.

On the K63 flop, action was checked to Tamasauskas, who fired out a bet of 4,500. Haddad responded with a raise to 9,000, and Tarlev cold-called.

Tamasauskas wasn't finished there, and three-bet to 34,000.

After some thought Haddad folded, but Tarlev back-jammed for 130,000 with the covering stack. Tamasauskas quickly got his 92,000 total stack into the middle.

Vladas Tamasauskas: AJ All in
Petru Tarlev: 75

It was flush draw versus flush draw and gutshot, and Tamasauskas was in great shape.

The J turn was a great card for Tamasauskas, giving him the security of a pair, and Tarlev was now drawing to a non-diamond four. It did not arrive on the Q river.

Ioannis Angelou Konstas
Ioannis Angelou Konstas

A full board of 10654K was showing with around 50,000 in the pot when Ioannis Angelou Konstas shoved the cutoff for his remaining stack of about 70,000.

Florian Thumm was on the button and didn't need to think for too long before he stuck in the call. Angelou Konstas was already up on his feet as he revealed a bluff holding J8, and Thumm took down the pot with K10 for top two pair.

Hu's Double Barrel Wins Him the Pot

Level 9 : Blinds 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

Lulei Hu raised to 5,000 on the button before Arvin Verma three-bet to 12,500 out of the big blind. Hu called to see a flop.

Verma decided to check the A73 flop, which allowed Hu to bet 7,000. Verma quickly called.

A 2 turn got a second check from Verma, and a second bet by Hu, this time for 29,000. Verma folded, and Hu scooped in the pot.

Tantillo Gets a Pot and a Massage

Level 9 : Blinds 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

Fausto Tantillo bet 7,500 from early position on a flop of 1065 and Rostyslav Sabishchenko called in middle position.

Both players checked the 3 turn before Tantillo bet 15,500 on the K river. Tantillo showed QQ, and Sabishchenko mucked. Marco Di Perso then came over from another table and started giving Tantillo a back rub while Tantillo dragged in the pot.

Eusebiu Jalba, who took a cruel beat on the river against Tantillo earlier, is still hanging on with around 25,000.

Sacchi Picks Off Kryza's Bluff

Level 9 : Blinds 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

Vitaliy Kryza came in for a raise to 4,000 from the hijack with Daniele Sacchi calling out of the small blind, and Ren Lin defending his big blind.

After two checks, Kryza fired out 5,500 on the 2Q5 flop and only Sacchi called.

Both players checked the 8 turn for the 4 to fall on the river. Sacchi checked again, but Kryza bet 26,000. After a brief pause, Sacchi put in the call. Kryza tapped the table, then slid his cards face down back to the dealer, meaning Sacchi picked up the pot without having to show.

Level 9 : Blinds 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante
Simon Wilson
Simon Wilson

With 30,000 in the middle on a board of 106A, Peter Cieslik checked from middle position and Simon Wilson bet 8,500 out of the hijack. Cieslik called.

A 5 fell on the turn and again Cieslik checked, and again he called a bet when Wilson fired 33,000. When the 10 dropped on the river, Cieslik checked for a third time and after some time in the tank, Wilson decided to knuckle back.

Cieslik then revealed a pair of aces with A8, and Wilson mucked.

After Cieslik raked in the pot, he reassured Wilson that he would have called if he shoved.

Mariusz Golinski

Mariusz Golinski was all-in for around 70,000 and at risk against Iraklis Manikaros.

Mariusz Golinski: JJ All in
Iraklis Manikaros: AQ

It was a fair fight, but Golinski was down to a two-outer after the A73 flop, and he could not find it on the K turn or 3 river.

Runner-Runner for De Boer

Level 9 : Blinds 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

A decent pot of 68,000 had developed by the river, on a board of KJ1055, in a hand between Yannick Jobin under the gun, and Rudolf De Boer on the button.

Jobin checked, and De Boer fired out a big bet of 65,000. Jobin went into the tank, and the clock was called by a table mate after around three minutes.

As time was about to elapse, Jobin called, but was shown the bad news when De Boer tabled A5 for trip fives, Jobin shaking his head in disbelief at the runout.
