Pidun Mangles Mangal in Cooler

Daniel Pidun opened to 30,000 from the hijack, and received a call from Lulei Hu on the button, before Vikrant Mangal three-bet to 165,000, leaving himself around 65,000 behind.

Pidun took a bit of time for thought and rejammed, forcing out Hu, and Mangal quickly got the rest of his stack into the middle.

In a brutal cooler, Mangal had run kings into aces near the bubble.

The Q♣J♦10♥ flop was about as sweaty as it could get for Pidun, but much to his delight, Mangal bricked the 6♣ turn and 10♣ river.

Muzacz was already ahead and called for the jack of spades after the K♦Q♣4♦ flop. The Q♦ turn was a blank and the same applied for the 3♠ on the river to knock out Szarka before the money. On the way out, he was joined by Alexander Dovzhenko to bring the field one step closer to the bubble.

He peeled one card, and said "It's good." He then gave a time bank a kiss for good luck as he passed it to the dealer, and peeled his second card, before immediately putting in calling chips.

A pot of 480,000 had developed by the turn on K♥J♣7♣9♦, with Dirk Langer all-in, and Gerald Karlic and Ferdinando D'Alessio still active in the pot.

The turn was checked to the 2♣ river, where D'Alessio folded to a bet of 100,000 from Karlic.

Karlic tabled Q♥10♦ for the turned nut king-high straight, and Langer tabled K♦Q♠ as he took his leave.

We are now in hand-for-hand play.

Kestutis Jungevicius Eliminated on the Bubble

On the direct bubble, Kestutis Jungevicius min-raised to 32,000 from early position, and Ran Ilani called out of the big blind.

Ilani checked the A♥8♦9♠ flop, prompting Jungevicius to fire a continuation-bet of 16,000. Ilani check-jammed for Jungevicius' stack of 395,000, and Jungevicius snap-called. Once the other tables had completed their hands and the cameras arrived, the players revealed their cards with Jungevicius at risk.

Jungevicius currently had the nuts with a set of aces, but Ilani had outs in the form of a straight draw.

A 10♥ rolled off on the turn to improve Ilani to a straight, and meant Jungevicius needed a board-pairing river to stay alive and keep the tournament on the bubble.

The dealer burned a card, then dealt the 2♦ to complete the board. Ilani's straight held up, and Jungevicius was the bubble boy of the 2025 WSOPE Main Event.

Stamatis Sneaks Into the Money

Alkiviadis Stamatis survived the money bubble with just 37,000 and was quickly all in from the small blind as Ferdinando D'Alessio in the big blind and Michele Tocci under the gun put him at risk.

D'Alessio and Tocci checked to the river on a board of Q♥A♦6♥J♥10♣. Tocci then bet 26,000, and D'Alessio quickly folded.

Stamatis showed 10♦9♠, but Tocci had K♦J♠ for a straight to win the pot and send Stamatis to the rail.
