Level 18 : Blinds 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante
Darius Samual
Darius Samual

Murilo Garcia jammed from early position for 279,000 and Murilo Garcia shoved over the top for around 580,000. Once the other players folded, the cards were tabled.

Darius Samual: JJ All in
Murilo Garcia: AK

Samual needed his pocket jacks to hold up versus Garcia's ace-king if he was to continue his Main Event adventure.

The coin flop went Garcia's way on the AK9QA runout as he improved to a full house, sending Samual to the cashier's desk.

Ivo Donev
Ivo Donev

Marcello Miniucchi raised to 32,000 in the cutoff and Ivo Donev called in the big blind.

Both players checked the J76 flop. Donev then moved all in for 57,000 on the 8 turn, and Miniucchi called.

Donev showed K9 for a straight draw and needed to improve against Miniucchi's AA. The K river wasn't enough, and Donev was sent to the rail.

Spataru's Run Ends Against Schumacher

Level 18 : Blinds 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante
Andrei Spataru
Andrei Spataru

Andrei Spataru used one time bank extension from under the gun and then got his last 55,000 into the middle. Some quick folds later, the action was on Yannick Schumacher and he opted to flat-call in the cutoff while everyone else got out of the way.

Andrei Spataru: J2 All in
Yannick Schumacher: 44

The AK2 flop gave Spataru bottom pair and the A turn opened some counterfeit outs as he now jokingly asked for a king. However, the 10 on the river was of no help and that spelled the end for the Romanian who left the tournament area with a smile on the face.

Flush for Garcia to Bust Cieslik

Level 18 : Blinds 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante
Peter Cieslik
Peter Cieslik

A pot of at least 400,000 had developed by the river, on a board of 1031084, in a hand between Murilo Garcia under the gun and Peter Cieslik in the hijack.

Garcia checked, and Cieslik fired out a bet of 245,000. After some thought, Garcia responded with a check-raise to 800,000 just covering Cieslik's remaining stack.

After a reasonable period of thought, Cieslik called. Garcia tabled A6 for the ace-high flush, and Cieslik nodded and tabled AA, wishing the table good luck as he departed.

Mustafa Sharanshi
Mustafa Sharanshi

Mustafa Sharanshi was all-in preflop for 111,000 and picked up two callers in Fausto Tantillo out of the small blinds and Daniel Pidun in the big blind. The AA4 flop was checked before the 7 followed on the turn. Tantillo now bet 135,000 and Pidun declared all-in, which Tantillo called after brief consideration.

Mustafa Sharanshi: QQ All in
Daniel Pidun: J8 All in
Fausto Tantillo: AQ

Sharanshi was drawing dead while Tantillo still had outs to improve to knock out two players with a possible full house. The river was the 3 and the stacks were counted. Pidun was at risk for 360,000 and doubled through Tantillo to leave the latter very short.

In a single-raised pot to the 862 flop, Jan Krnac and Viorel Gavrila got their stacks into the middle.
