Pidun Chips Up Without Showdown

Level 23 : Blinds 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante

Ran Ilani had recently lost quite a few chips and then stole the blinds, flashing the AA from under the gun. One hand later, he was in the big blind and Jan-Willem Nijmeijer opened to 100,000. Daniel Pidun in the small blind called and Ilani came along to the 665 flop that they checked to the initial raiser.

Nijmeijer bet 200,000 and Pidun was the only caller. Both then checked the 5 on the turn before Pidun let his thirty second countdown almost hit zero before he declared a bet and moved his entire stack of T-100,000 chips forward. The bet was for 1,300,000 and Nijmeijer folded, sighing.

Lauck Bombs the River on Pidun

Level 23 : Blinds 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante

Daniel Pidun raised to 105,000 in the hijack and was called by Jonas Lauck on the button and big blind Bartlomiej Muzacz.

The flop came Q106 and Pidun bet 165,000. Only Lauck called to see the 10 turn.

Pidun slowed down and checked to Lauck, who bet 245,000. Pidun called and the 7 fell on the river. Pidun checked again, and Lauck used a few time banks before announcing a bet of 850,000. Pidun quickly folded.

Kabhrel Takes Out Manolakis

Level 23 : Blinds 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante
Michail Manolakis
Michail Manolakis

When it folded around to Michail Manolakis in the small blind, he shoved for around 600,000 and Martin Kabrhel instantly called from the big bind.

Michail Manolakis: A7 All in
Martin Kabrhel: A9

Manolakis was in rough shape against Kabrhel's ace-nine, and found no help on the 9Q4 flop as Kabrhel paired his nine. Manolakis was drawing dead after the J turn as the K on the river was just a formality.

Manolakis headed to the exit and Kabrhel's stack grew to around 8,700,000.

Hu Bluff Loses Heaps to Garcia

Level 23 : 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante
Murilo Garcia
Murilo Garcia

Murilo Garcia raised to 110,000 with the AJ and Lulei Hu defended the big blind holding the K9. The J77 flop saw Hu with the check and Pedroso checked it back to the 2 turn. Hu checked again and Garcia overbet for 500,000 into a pot of only 295,000.

Hu check-raised to 1,200,000 and Garcia called to see the 3 river complete a possible flush. Both players now checked it down and Hu smirked vividly after losing the big pot.

Tikhov Double Leaves Adam on Fumes

Level 23 : Blinds 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante
Ivan Tikhov
Ivan Tikhov

Ivan Tikhov moved all-in for 550,000 in the cutoff and the action folded to Michael Adam in the big blind who asked for a count as fellow short stack. Adam grabbed his chips and they lingered right above the felt as the seconds ticked down. With two seconds left, Adam called.

Ivan Tikhov: 1010 All in
Michael Adam: 99

The 742K7 board didn't connect with either player and Adam plummeted to a shade over one big blind.

Adam's Main Event Comes to an End

Level 23 : Blinds 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante
Michael Adam
Michael Adam

Michael Adam committed his last 30,000 from the cutoff with Artem Kobylynskyi limping the button, Dimitrios Gkatzas completing out of the small blind and Max Neugebauer checking his option from the big blind.

With Adam all-in and 60,000 available in the side pot, the other three players checked the 2J2 flop to see the 7 appear on the turn. Gkatzas bet 75,000, forcing Neugebauer and Kobylynskyi to fold.

Michael Adam: K5 All in
Dimitrios Gkatzas: 62

Gkatzas had trips and Adam needed to spike a king on the river to survive. A J peeled off on the river, and Adam exited in 26th place.

Szabolcs Kukucska
Szabolcs Kukucska

Szabolcs Kukucska moved all in for 650,000 in the hijack, Ran Ilani reraised to 1,100,000 on the button, and the rest of the table folded.

Szabolcs Kukucska: KQ All in
Ran Ilani: AK

Ilani had Kukucksa dominated and was poised for the knockout as the A fell in the window, but it was followed by 26 as Kukucksa flopped a flush. The 8 turn left Ilani drawing dead, and he handed over the double up after the 4 fell on the river.
