The tournament director has confirmed Day 2 will conclude when the field is reduced to 16 players, or the end of Level 28, whichever is earlier.
Jan Dijkstra opened to 25,000 from early position, and received a call from Shaun Deeb in the next seat.
On the K♣10♥2♥ flop, Djikstra continued with a bet of 25,000, which failed to shake off Deeb.
The 2♠ hit on the turn, and Deeb quickly folded in the face of a double-barrel of 65,000 from Djikstra.

Shaun Deeb was raking in a monster pot, after his A♣K♣ held across the 10♦6♠4♥3♣4♣ runout against Pierre Calamusa's Q♦J♦, and Sorel Mizzi's A♠J♠, ace-king high being enough for the pot.
Deeb busted Calamusa, while doing serious damage to Mizzi.

On a flop of 5♣7♠8♥, there were around 80,000 in the pot when Konstantinos Nanos bet 15,000 from under the gun and Simon Wilson made it 51,000 to go from the hijack. After some time in the tank, Nanos shoved for over 300,000.
"Do you have pocket eights?" asked Wilson after thinking a while. "Maybe we have the same hand," he added before he eventually folded.
Nanos didn't show his cards, but just pulled in the pot with a smirk on his face.

There was at least 400,000 in the middle on a completed board of K♠10♣6♠4♥6♣, in a hand between Luca Beretta on the bubble and Paul Covaciu in the big blind.
Covaciu checked, and Beretta fired out a bet of 210,000. Covaciu went into the tank, pained and seemingly unable to make a decision.
After around two minutes, a tablemate offered to call the clock. Covaciu said it was up to them. About thirty seconds later, he put in calling chips.
Beretta tabled K♦J♣ for two pair, kings and sixes, and he had Covaciu pipped, who open-folded the K♥ in a frustrated manner.
