Kevin Fluegel

Kevin Fluegel made it 100,000 under the gun with 30,000 remaining in his stack. Elias Vaaraniemi three-bet from the small blind to 225,000, and after the big blind folded, Fluegel called the remainder of his chips.

Kevin Fluegel: Q8 All in
Elias Vaaraniemi: K5

Fluegel needed to connect with the board to keep his hopes of making the final table alive.

However, the dealer produced a board of K93KA to have Fluegel drawing dead by the turn to Vaaraniemi's trip kings. Fluegel was out in ninth place, and the tournament was on the final table bubble.

Tobias Peters: AJ

Speranzoni had outflopped Peters with top pair, but Peters spiked the J on the turn to retake the lead. The river was the 2 and Speranzoni was eliminated in 10th place.

Frederic Delval nearly joined him, as at the same time he shoved for 410,000 from the cutoff after Felix Seelentag opened to 100,000 under the gun. Seelentag called to put him at risk.

Frederic Delval: A5 All in
Felix Seelentag: KJ

Seelentag hit top pair on the K63 flop, while the turn was the 5. Delval caught the A on the river to make two pair as he went off to the rail to celebrate his double up with his wife.

"She wants a ring. A nice ring," Delval joked with his tablemates when he returned.

Felix Seelentag
Felix Seelentag

Kevin Fluegel raised under the gun with Felix Seelentag calling from the cutoff, and Andreas Goeller defending his big blind.

After two checks on the 109Q flop, Seelentag bet 85,000, and only Goeller called.

Both players checked the 2 turn to see the 5 complete the board. Goeller led out for 250,000 and Seelentag tank-called.

Goeller showed a busted draw with K3 and lost the pot to Seelentag's Ax10x for a pair of tens.

At the other table, Alessandro Pichierri doubled up through Rifat Palevic when his A6 backdoored into a flush to best the AQ of his opponent.

Grzegorz Flak raised to 100,000 on the button and Georgios Tsouloftas put in a few time banks and peeked at the action at the other table before shoving for 200,000 in the big blind. Flak quickly called.

Georgios Tsouloftas: A4 All in
Grzegorz Flak: A9

Tsouloftas was dominated and at risk, and the Q52 flop gave him some outs with a straight draw. The J fell on the turn, while the 7 river was no help to Tsouloftas as he was eliminated in 11th place, locking up a Main Event ticket for the remaining 10 players.

While the table was waiting for a new player, action continued on the other table as Elias Vaaraniemi and Felix Seelentag checked to the turn on a board of 4J52. Vaaraniemi then bet 75,000 from the big blind and Seelentag called on the button.

Vaaraniemi bet 155,000 on the 7 river and Seelentag again called. Vaaraniemi showed K7 for a rivered pair, and Seelentag mucked.

Alessandro Pichierri
Alessandro Pichierri

Alessandro Pichierri jammed the button for 60,000 with Rifat Palevic calling in the small blind and Grzegorz Flak calling out of the big blind.

With Pichierri all-in, Flak and Palevic checked a runout of KJ298 all the way down and the cards were revealed.

Flak showed Q7 for a pair of queens and beat the A10 of Palevic for ace-high. Pichierri, however, revealed the winner with K5 for a pair of kings and he tripled up.

After the hand, Pichierri received a warning from the tournament director for speaking his native Italian to his rail during the hand, telling him he had flopped top pair.
