For the first time since 2020, the World Series of Poker (WSOP) Main Event is returning to ESPN.
The WSOP confirmed a historic multi-year agreement with the network, which broadcast poker's most prestigious tournament from 1988-2020.
The announcement puts an end to weeks of speculation following the release of the 2026 WSOP schedule, which hinted at a major shake-up to the tournament structure.
The Main Event is now on a 60-minute dinner break. Play resume at 7:45 p.m. local time.
Aliaksandr Yarosh jammed for 4,600 from under the gun. He was called once before Hossein Ensan in the small blind raised all-in to make the third player fold.
Aliaksandr Yarosh: A♦3♦
Hossein Ensan: A♥K♠
Yarosh was lucky enough to hit a full house on A♠10♦3♠3♥9♣ to triple his stack before dinner break.
Shaun Deeb has brushed off his earlier heads-up defeat in the COLOSSUS and taken his seat in the WSOP Europe Main Event.
Just like in every tournament he’s entered here in Prague, Deeb is already building a stack. He has turned the 60,000 starting stack into 260,000 heading into the dinner break.
Deeb previously finished third in the 2022 WSOP Europe Main Event, and looks to be off to another strong start in the series showpiece.
There was 27,000 in the pot on the 4♥A♣3♣2♥10♥ board in a hand between Alexandre Mantovani and James Obst.
Mantovani bet 3,500 from the big blind before Obst raised to 20,000 from the button.
After sending a couple of time bank cards to the dealer, Mantovani made the call.
Obst tabled 2♦2♠ for a set of deuces. The sight of Obst’s ducks frustrated Mantovani, who squeezed his hole cards in his hand and grimaced, before sending them into the muck.
