$10,000 Wynn Millions ($10M GTD)
While PokerNews is here offering live updates from the Wynn Millions, we’d be remiss if we didn’t tell you about some of the side events that have taken place out over the past month at the Wynn Summer Classic.
In Event #23: $1,600 NLH, 1,312 runners created a $1,902,400 prize pool that was paid out to the top 134 players. Among those to cash but fall short of the final table were Humberto Brenes (120th - $3,824), Jordan Cristos (93rd - $4,853), Timothy McDermott (31st - $9,980), Richard Bai (14th - $11,357), and Robert Peacock (10th - $26,312).
In the end, it was California native George Antonakos who collected every chip in play to capture the first-place $293,530 payday.

Action on the table folded around to Bryn Kenney who raised to 2,500 from the cutoff and Brian Hastings three-bet to 7,500 on the button. After the blinds folded, Kenney four-bet to 18,000 and then snap-called Hastings five-bet jam for roughly 80,000.

The second of three starting flights attracted 389 runners, which along with 1a’s 263 brings the current field up to 652 entries with Sunday’s Day 1c still to go. That means they'll be looking for another big turnout if they hope to hit the massive $10 million guarantee.
After the middle position player limped-in, Spencer Champlin raised to 5,000 from late position and action folded to the small blind who three-bet to 12,000.
The big blind folded, as did the early limper and Champlin called bringing action heads-up to the ![]()

flop. The small blind led out for 6,500 and then did the same for 12,000 after the
fell on the turn.
Champlin called both bets and both players checked the

Four-time WSOP bracelet winner Brian Hastings raised to 2,700 under the gun and action folded all the way around to Bryn Kenney, who called from the big blind.

Hastings upped his bet to 6,500 and that did the trick as Kenney released.
A series of preflop raises brought Roger Campbell, Chris Brewer, and Ryan Remington to a ![]()

flop for 8,500 apiece.
All three players checked to the
turn where action was checked to Remington who fired out 7,500 on the button. Campbell called from under the gun while Brewer folded from the cutoff, and the dealer completed the board with the
