Dothar Flops Set to Crack Aces

Level 18 : 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante
Jampa Dothar
Jampa Dothar

Michael Rossitto opened to 20,000 in early position, a player to his left three-bet to 55,000, and Jampa Dothar moved all in for 210,000 in middle position. Georgios Sotiropoulos got his chips in on the button, and everyone else folded.

Jampa Dothar: {j-Clubs}{j-Hearts}
Georgios Sotiropoulos: {a-Spades}{a-Clubs}

Dothar ran into rockets and needed help, and the {j-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}{7-Spades} flop instantly vaulted him ahead.

"Yeah!" Dothar exclaimed as he jumped up from his seat with a clap of his hands.

The {3-Clubs} and {4-Hearts} completed the board to secure Dothar's double, while the Greek three-time bracelet winner took a hit to his stack.

Muehloecker Leveraging Opponents

Level 18 : 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante
Thomas	Muehloecker
Thomas Muehloecker

Thomas Muehloecker has been putting his large stack to good use on the money bubble, forcing his opponents to make tough decisions that could see them crash out of the tournament with nothing to show for their efforts.

A player in middle position opened to 23,000 and action folded to Muehloecker in the small blind. He opted to three-bet to 70,000 and the big blind got out of the way to send the action back to the initial raiser. The middle position player took a long time mulling over his options, perhaps stalling or faced with a real decision, but did eventually release his hand to send even more chips Muehloecker's way.

Rivero Cracks Aces to Oust Jamhour on Soft Bubble

Level 18 : 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante
Qasem Jamhour
Qasem Jamhour

Qasem Jamhour was on the button and had gotten his stack of 261,000 in against Steven Rivero in early position.

Qasem Jamhour : {a-Spades}{a-Diamonds}
Steven Rivero: {q-Spades}{q-Diamonds}

Jamhour was in good shape for a double until the {q-Clubs}{7-Spades}{2-Spades} flop flipped the cooler around and left him needing an ace. The {j-Spades} turn gave him a flush draw, but the {7-Diamonds} river provided no help.

Rivero had his opponent barely covered and collected the pot, while Jamhour hit the rail just short of the money.

Boivin Counterfeits Opponent

Level 18 : 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante
Thomas Boivin
Thomas Boivin

Action folded around to the small blind who shoved his last 67,000 into the middle. Thomas Boivin in the big blind made the call with the larger stack to put the small blind at risk.

Small Blind Player: {9-Clubs}{9-Spades}
Thomas Boivin: {a-Spades}{10-Hearts}

It was a classic flip near the bubble. The {q-Spades}{q-Hearts}{4-Diamonds} flop kept the small blind ahead as did the {k-Spades} turn. The {k-Hearts} river, however, counterfeited the pocket nines, sending the small blind player out of the tournament just a couple spots outside of the money.

Sotiropoulos Eliminated on Money Bubble

Level 18 : 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante
Georgios Sotiropoulos
Georgios Sotiropoulos

Georgios Sotiropoulos had gotten his stack of approximately 200,000 in from middle position and was at risk against Michael Rossitto in the small blind.

Georgios Sotiropoulos: {q-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}
Michael Rossitto: {k-Spades}{k-Hearts}

Sotiropoulos was pipped by the premium pocket pair, and the {10-Clubs}{7-Clubs}{6-Spades} flop changed nothing. The {j-Clubs} turn left him needing a queen to stay alive, but the {3-Diamonds} completed the board to eliminate the Greek three-time bracelet winner on the money bubble.

The 152 remaining players are now in the money and guaranteed a min-cash of $8,013.

Kolev Scores Double Knockout

Level 18 : 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante
Boris Kolev
Boris Kolev

Aram Zobian in middle position opened to 20,000 and Boris Kolev three-bet to 46,000 from one seat over. Action folded to the big blind, who threw his last 15,000 into the middle. Zobian then called the extra 26,000 to send the players to the flop.

Action checked through the {a-Diamonds}{7-Spades}{8-Clubs} flop to the {7-Diamonds} turn. Zobian led out for 21,000 and was called.

On the {2-Clubs} river Zobian moved all in and Kolev snapped it off with the covering stack. Kolev revealed he held {a-Clubs}{a-Hearts} for the boat, aces full of sevens. Zobian tossed his hand away as he stood to exit the tournament area. The big blind, who had not looked at his hand, would need to find the improbable {7-Clubs}{7-Hearts}. No miracle was forthcoming, confirming the double knockout for Kolev.
