A player in the big blind was all in and at risk against Lorenzo Lavis in middle position.
Big Blind Player:
Lorenzo Lavis:
It was essentially a coinflip but Lavis remained ahead after the flop, which actually removed one of his opponent's outs (losing three tens while picking up two nines). The turn and river completed a safe runout for Lavis, bringing his stack up above 1,000,000 while sending his opponent packing.
With roughly 600,000 in the pot on a board, Eshaan Bhalla checked in early position, and Barry Hutter checked back in the hijack.
The completed the board and Bhalla checked. Hutter bet 410,000, and Bhalla check-raised all in to give Hutter a big decision. Hutter took off his sunglasses as he contemplated calling for his stack of approximately 880,000 behind. He chewed gum and stared at the board, and ultimately, he put in the chips.
Bhalla tabled for the nut flush as Hutter's went into the muck and he made his way to the payout desk. Bhalla collected the pot and continued his hot run today as he moved into the clear chip lead.
A player in the cutoff got all of his chips in preflop against Thomas Muehloecker in the big blind.
Cutoff Player:
Thomas Muehloecker:
Muehloecker had his opponent dominated and was in a good place to score another knockout. The flop kept him ahead although the turn did give his opponent a gutshot. The at risk player was unable to find further help on the river, however, sending him to the rail while Muehloecker dragged in the pot.
