Foxen Gives It Up On River

Level 5 : Blinds 300/600, 600 ante

The action was picked up in a pot of roughly 4,000 on a flop showing {a-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}. The small blind checked to Foxen who tossed out a bet of 900. After a few seconds, the small blind called and the {7-Diamonds} hit the turn.

The small blind checked again and Foxen sized up to 6,300, which again was called. On the {8-Clubs} river the small blind checked a third time and Foxen took some time before eventually checking back to a showdown.

The small blind rolled over {a-Spades}{3-Spades} for flopped two-pair and Foxen slid his cards to the dealer.

Ace-High Wins for Hughes

Level 5 : Blinds 300/600, 600 ante

There was a raise to 1,500 from early position and Ryan Hughes reraised to 5,500 on the button. His opponent called and they went heads-up to a flop of [8h63c] where they both checked to the {9-Spades} on the turn.

It was checked to Hughes for the second time and he tossed in a bet of 4,000. His opponent called and the {q-Hearts} completed the board. Both players tapped the table and Hughes tabled {a-Clubs}{k-Hearts} which was enough to beat his opponent's {k-Clubs}{10-Clubs}.

Nick Pupillo: {q-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}
Fabian Rolli: {a-Diamonds}{9-Spades}
