Stuewe Runs Into a Cooler

Level 17 : 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

The action was relayed to PokerNews after the fact in a pot where Nick Palma opened to 22,000 from the button and Connor Stuewe made the call in the small blind. Amir Emami elected on a shove in the big blind, covering both opponents. Palma got out of the way and Stuewe snap-called to put himself at risk.

Connor Stuewe: {a-Spades}{a-Diamonds}
Amir Emami: {k-Clubs}{k-Hearts}

It was the ultimate cooler spot for Emami who held the second best hand, but when the board ran out {k-Diamonds}{4-Spades}{2-Hearts}{2-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}, he managed to turn the tables on the cooler and eliminate Stuewe in brutal fashion.

Meanwhile on the very next hand Lenard Adams got the rest of his 175,000 in the middle and was sent to the rail when his opponent made a straight.

Kingstone Out-Flops Zimnik

Level 17 : 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

Nathan Zimnik was down to just over 100,000 chips and moved all in from the hijack. Max Kingstone was in the big blind and quickly flicked in a chip to call.

Nathan Zimnik: {a-Hearts}{k-Hearts}
Max Kingstone: {a-Diamonds}{10-Spades}

Despite being dominated, Kingstone flopped the best of it on the {10-Hearts}{10-Clubs}{7-Clubs} flop. The {9-Spades} on the turn left Zimnik drawing dead to the {q-Hearts} on the river.

Daniel Negreanu Calls on Poker Sites to Ban Accused Cheater Ali Imsirovic

Level 17 : 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante
Daniel Negreanu
Daniel Negreanu

In a Wednesday tweet, Daniel Negreanu said that accused poker cheater Ali Imsirovic is still up to his dirty tricks and called for all poker sites and card rooms to ban the high roller.

Last year, along with Jake Schindler, the 2021 GPI Player of the Year, was temporarily banned from PokerGO Tour events. He was accused of collusion during live poker tournaments and using real-time assistance (RTA) tools online.

Imsirovic, the high-stakes crusher who has fallen from grace over the past year due to the allegations, is rumored to be permanently banned from GGPoker as part of an RTA crackdown. The Poker Integrity Council (PIC) at GGPoker, led by poker site ambassador Jason Koon, was formed last summer to investigate potential online cheating allegations.

Duong Takes Big Pot

Level 17 : 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

The action was picked up in a three-way pot of close to 150,000 on a board showing {5-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}{k-Clubs}. Phung Dao checked from the small blind to Amir Lehavot in middle position who bet out 80,000. Jake Schwartz folded in the hijack and Dao put in a check-raise to 164,000.

Lehavot took some time, but eventually made the call and the {7-Spades} hit the river. Dao kept up the aggression with a sizing of 134,000, and without much thought, Lehavot let his hand go.
