July 9 at the Wynn Summer Classic was a three-event day.
Day 2 of the $2,200 No Limit Hold'em ($2m GTD) event played down to a final table.
Meanwhile, two one-day $1,100 no limit hold’em events played out from start to finish. These were the $1,100 No Limit Hold'em ($250k GTD) and $1,100 No Limit Hold'em Turbo ($100k GTD).
Shiina Okamoto Final Tables $1,100 NLH Turbo
A total of 268 players turned out for the $1,100 No Limit Hold'em Turbo ($100k GTD) , coughing up eleven C-notes apiece to put $261,300 in the prize pool.
Amarpreet Dhoot — who has three top 40 finishes at this year's WSC — finally walked away with a first-place prize. His cut of the prize pool was $48,480 plus a trophy for first place.
To get to the top of the podium, Dhoot had to beat a final table that included Shiina Okamoto. Okamoto defended her WSOP Ladies Event title, earning her second gold bracelet just two weeks ago. She ultimately came seventh in this event for $9,513.
Despite the tough competition, Dhoot was able to make it to heads-up play where he faced off against Lisa Teebagy.
Teebagy brewed up a pot for herself of $40,795 for her second-place finish.

What's Happening Today At The Wynn Las Vegas?
The start of July 10 puts us five days from the end of the action here at the Wynn Las Vegas. Things are hotting up as the Wynn Summer Classic builds to its last few days of action.
At 11 a.m., the festival mixes things up with the $1,100 T.O.R.S.E. a $50,000 guaranteed event that swaps in 2-7 triple draw for limit hold’em in an otherwise classic H.O.R.S.E. mix.
There will be 30-minute blind levels and late registration is open until around 3:30 p.m.
Then at midday the final table of the $2,200 No Limit Hold’em returns to play down to a winner. Muehloecker is in great shape to take it down, but it isn't over till it’s over and he'll have plenty of competition from his seven tablemates.
As that final table kicks off, the tournament director will be calling “shuffle up and deal” on another $1,100 No Limit Hold’em ($250k GTD) tournament. As always, this event has a guaranteed prize pool of $250,000 and late registration until around 4:30 p.m.
At 6 p.m. we get another $1,100 No Limit Hold’em Turbo ($100k) which runs with 20-minute blind levels. With the faster blinds, late registration closes at around 9 p.m. when level 9 is due to start.
