The third and final day of the 2015 partypoker World Poker Tour National London £200 No-Limit Hold'em Accumulator began with 24 players out of a 594-entry field returning to the Aspers Casino in Stratford.

After a full day of play, the UK's Christopher Gordon emerged victorious by defeating Spain's Jesus Gracia in heads-up play to claim the trophy, Monster headphones, title as WPT National champion, and the first-place payout of £22,500. It was the biggest tournament payday for Gordon to date, although he has been a regular on the British circuit with plenty of smaller cashes.

The action started fast and furious with 13 of the participants being sent to the rail in the first two 60-minute levels. Among them were Kevin Allen and 2014 WPT Nottingham champion Matas Cimbolas, who both lost big pots prior to their final hand. Allen then hit the rail in 19th place after three-bet shoving with the {A-Clubs}{2-Diamonds} and ended up drawing dead on the turn against Darren Mapley's {A-Spades}{8-Clubs}. Cimbolas' run came to an end in 14th place after losing a flip with the {3-Clubs}{3-Hearts} against the {A-Hearts}{Q-Spades} of Lucio Pacifico.

Jeraint "JJ" Hazan scored a huge double up only to run out of chips within two hands, walking into the flopped straight of Pacifico and bowing out in 10th place to set the official final table. Michel Melkert and Rahim Tadj-Saadat were the first two to leave, and then Day 1a chip leader Pacifico followed in seventh place.

At this point, start-of-the-day chip leader Laurence Essa had dominated the table and knocked out Petrit Papushi in sixth place after turning a full house and cracking the {K-Hearts}{K-Spades} of his opponent with the {A-Hearts}{Q-Clubs}. Kenny King would fall in fifth place after calling a shove from Gordon in a battle of the blinds.

Mapley started the final table as second big stack, but ultimately had to settle for fourth place, losing all but one big blind with the {A-Hearts}{6-Diamonds} against Gordon's {K-Clubs}{Q-Clubs} before bowing out the next hand.

Down to the last three players, Essa was still the dominating chip leader, but he went from hero to zero in two big pots versus Gordon. First, his pocket queens were worthless against a turned set of deuces. Soon after, he would shove with the {Q-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds} but Gordon's {A-Spades}{9-Spades} held up to bust Essa in third place.

Gordon started the heads-up match with an almost 4-1 lead over Gracia, and the two would fight for just over an hour. The Spaniard doubled up once but was never able to close the gap at all. In the final hand, Gracia was at risk for his last 14 big blinds with the {10-Hearts}{10-Spades} and Gordon's {K-Clubs}{9-Diamonds} completed a straight on the river.

Jesus Gracia Eliminated in 2nd Place (£15,750)

Level 28 : 50,000/100,000, 15,000 ante
Jesus Gracia - 2nd place
Jesus Gracia - 2nd place

A few hands later, Christopher Gordon would take another stab at knocking out his opponent and Jesus Gracia called off for his last 14 big blinds.

Gordon: {K-Clubs} {9-Diamonds}
Gracia: {10-Hearts} {10-Spades}

The Spanish rail would spot the {10-Diamonds} right in the window and already started cheering, but the other two flop cards {J-Clubs} {K-Hearts} did provide some sweat. It wasn't the {7-Hearts} turn that changed things even though an additional gutshot was now also out there.

The {Q-Hearts} river completed the straight for Gordon and Gracia shook hands with his opponent before stepping away from the table. The Spaniard was a short stack for most of the final table and managed to ladder up all the way to second place, good for a payday of £15,750.

A recap of today's action will follow as soon as possible and hope everyone enjoyed the show!

Gordon Pulling Away Again

Level 28 : 50,000/100,000, 15,000 ante

The majority of pots went towards Christopher Gordon again with the most notable one coming off a {10-Spades} {A-Hearts} {9-Spades} {5-Clubs} {2-Hearts} board. Gordon had called a bet of 350,000 on the turn after the flop was checked through and they checked the river. Gordon had {8-Diamonds} {9-Hearts} and that was good enough.

Another hand saw Gordon raise to 200,000 and Gracia call. The {8-Spades} {6-Spades} {3-Spades} flop was checked, Gracia called a bet of 200,000 on the {A-Hearts} turn and then folded to the shove of Gordon on a {9-Clubs} river.

As per WPT rules, the levels are now 30 minutes long.

Trips for Gracia

Level 27 : 40,000/80,000, 10,000 ante

A few small pots went towards Jesus Gracia and the Spaniard then limped, Christopher Gordon checked. On the {10-Diamonds} {4-Spades} {6-Clubs} flop both players checked and Gracia bet 300,000 on the {4-Clubs} turn. Gordon called and also called quickly a bet of 550,000 on the {9-Clubs} river. Gracia turned over the {4-Diamonds} {5-Spades} for trips and scooped the pot.

One hand later the Spaniard would three-bet to 750,000 and scare off his opponent.

Fast and Furios Start

Level 27 : 40,000/80,000, 10,000 ante

The first two hands were both walks, then Jesus Gracia raised to 250,000 and was called. The {6-Spades} {Q-Spades} {7-Hearts} flop got checked through by both opponents before Christopher Gordon called a bet of 350,000 on the {4-Clubs} turn. Gracia made it 650,000 to go after the {8-Hearts} river and mucked immediately after Gordon had called.

In the fourth hand, Gordon made it 200,000 to go and was called. On the {5-Clubs} {10-Diamonds} {Q-Spades} flop, Gracia check-raised all in for 1,160,000 and Gordon forfeited his continuation bet of 200,000.
