PPI’s Online Poker Room Adds to Impressive Ambassador Team 0001
  • Matias Gabrenja, Balazs Botond, and Laurence Grondin strengthen the team of ambassadors at PPI Poker.

PPIPOKER.net has added three regional superstars to their already exemplary team of Ambassadors. Matias "Festivuss" Gabrenja (Argentina), Balazs "Birs320" Botond (Hungary) and Laurence "Lady_Luck" Grondin (Quebec, Canada) have joined the likes of Casey "BigDogPckt5s" Jarzabek and others to form potentially the most talented team of poker pros on the planet.

"We are super excited to make these additions to our team; these are all extremely talented professional poker players, but more importantly, they represent the best of the best people in our industry. The level of respect they have within the poker community is of equal importance to us here at PPI," commented PPI Co-Founder Randall Kasper.

PPIPOKER.net, which launched in February of this year, has helped propel the GG Network to one of the top of the PokerScout charts for online poker liquidity. GG is on track to become one of the largest networks, rivaling the industry stalwarts.

"We believe the software is the best in the world," added PPI Co-Founder Eugene Castro. "Also, we are committed to providing the best customer service and the securest environment in online poker. We are determined to stay true to our tagline: 'Where Players Rule'. When choosing our latest additions, our number one priority was to engage passionate, knowledgeable and friendly individuals. I am confident that our new ambassadors will be warmly welcomed by players from their respective countries."

As for the most recent additions, their resumes are quite impressive:

  • Laurence Grondin has been a longstanding highly respected member of the poker community in Quebec and beyond. She's got five televised WSOP final tables, including a third-place finish, and is considered a live and online cash game expert. Beyond the felt, she's worked as a poker consultant for numerous companies and has served as the European Poker Tour's Television analyst for the French equivalent of ESPN (RDS).
  • Matias Gabrenja is a well-known personality in throughout the Latin American poker scene. With over $2.5M in online poker earning playing as Festivuss, Matias is also highly revered as an instructor. Matias has been involved as a consultant to companies in the poker industry and he brings that wealth of knowledge and experience to the team at PPI.
  • Balazs Botond is perhaps the most recognizable poker player from Hungary; he's nearly won WSOP gold, has an EPT win in Prague and he's taken down a Sunday Million on PokerStars. He's a member of the elusive 1M/1M club having earned 7-figures in both online and live poker tournaments.

"We're extremely pleased with these recent additions to our ambassador team," remarked Casey Jarzabek, PPI's Director of Ambassadors. "We'll continue to make great additions throughout the world going forward. If you'd like to join us, sign up at PPIPOKER.net and enter 'Casey20' to have $20 credited to your account immediately when you deposit at least $20."
