The 2020 partypoker US Network Online Event #19: $75,000 GTD NLH Main Event came to an end early Monday morning after Brian “TopCreature” Sherrier outlasted a field of 317 entries for the first-place prize of $21,540.
The final event of the week-long series, which took place in New Jersey on a trio of online poker sites: partypoker US, Borgata Poker and BetMGM Poker, saw only 34 players start the tournament but that number increased drastically as the $75,000 guarantee was smashed by the time the registration period ended.
The $95,100 prize pool became official after Level 21 and was paying out the top 36 players. A total of three levels passed before Angel "chromeking" Lopez lost a flip holding pocket tens to end up as the tournament's bubble boy leaving the remaining players in the money.
The virtual bodies started dropping like flies as Ryan “TheSims” Hohner (34th - $571), Jon “Jetsfan411” Borenstein (31st - $571) and "spinach_kale" (22nd - $761) were eliminated a ways away from the final table while Shankar "burgersssss" Pillai came up just short in 12th place for $1,331.

“JMPoker” Wins $10 Buy-In, $25K GTD Phased Event
The 2020 partypoker US Network Online Series $10 buy-in, $25K GTD Phased tournament attracted 1,507 entrants over eight starting flights, and on Sunday the advancing 166 returned to play down to a winner. After nearly six hours of play, it was “JMPoker” coming out on top to win the $4,532.50 top prize.
The top 81 players got a pirce of the $25,000 prize pool including “ChickenTendies” (68th - $77.50), “UFOLDIWIN” (54th - $90), “DaCoolerKing” (42nd - $100), “POKERMANTIS” (30th - $120), “cenation” (21st - $187.50), “filthy” (12th - $312.50), “Bullsey8” (6th - $1,037.50), and “jchimpo56” (3rd - $2,375).
The heads-up match was a back-and-forth affair, but ultimately it was “JMPoker” besting “GrindUrGearz” to win the title and $4,532.50 first-place prize.
