PGT Texas PLO Roundup

Everything is bigger in Texas, and that includes the PokerGO Tour (PGT) Texas PLO Roundup taking place next month at Champions Club in Houston.

The pot-limit Omaha series, running Nov. 14-24, will feature buy-ins ranging from $200 to $5,300 and will offer $1,350,000 in guaranteed prize pools. The bulk of that is reserved for the $1 million guaranteed $3,300 buy-in Pot-Limit Omaha Main Event taking place Nov. 20-24.

Despite being a PLO series, there are a few No-Limit Hold'em events sprinkled throughout, including the $15,000 guaranteed $300 No-Limit Hold'em that will kick things off on Nov. 14. That same day will see a $400 Multi-Bag / Multi-Flight Pot-Limit Omaha event with a $100,000 guarantee.

Some highlights across the schedule include a $1,100 Pot-Limit Omaha PKO event, a $300 Big O event and three separate $5,300 Pot-Limit Omaha High Rollers.

But the biggest draw is the $1 million guaranteed Main Event, which will offer six starting flights beginning Nov. 20. Three of the starting flights, Days 1C, 1E and 1F, will be turbo flights. The three-day event will then play to a winner on Nov. 24, with the action being streamed on PokerGO.

Action in Houston will close out with a $200 ROE (Round of Each) PLO / NLH event with a $10,000 guarantee.

Last year's PGT PLO Roundup Main Event drew 474 entrants for a prize pool of $1.4 million as Lawrence Chang defeated Andrew Ige to win $300,000.

Side event winners at the inaugural series included Ronald Keijzer (High Roller #3: $5,100 Pot-Limit Omaha - $40,150), Curtis Miller (High Roller #2: $5,100 Pot-Limit Omaha - $54,000) and recent WSOP Main Event final tablist Adam Hendrix (High Roller #1: $5,100 Pot-Limit Omaha - $51,750).

There's currently PLO action underway in the PokerGO Studio in Las Vegas with the PGT PLO Series II. But the next PLO series should up the ante as Texas card room regulars bring out their traditional loose-aggressive style.

The full schedule for the PGT Texas PLO Roundup is available in the table below.
