Iconic slasher Jason Voorhees was spotted in Las Vegas this weekend, but the fictional killer's presence shouldn't alarm locals. Kane Hodder, who plays the hockey-mask-wearing killer in several movies in the Friday the 13th franchise, was one of a handful of celebrities who played in charity poker events throughout the Las Vegas Valley.

The Charity Series of Poker (CSOP) hosted two events this weekend, Event #91: Betting on Bright Futures and Event #92: The House That Cards Built. Those events took place at Southern Glazer's Wine & Spirits offices and The Stirling Club, respectively.

Other celebrities who played the CSOP events include punk legend "Fat Mike" Burkett of the band NOFX, Ink Master champion Joey Hamilton, and actors Peter Mackenzie and Katie Morgan. Poker players in attendance, meanwhile, included personality Joey Ingram, coach Jonathan Little and 2006 World Series of Poker (WSOP) Player of the Year Jeff Madsen.

A third charity poker tournament took place at Red Rock Casino and was attended by an array of poker stars, including all-time bracelet leader Phil Hellmuth and high-stakes pros Andrew Robl and Jason Koon.

The weekend's charity poker festivities kicked off on Jan. 23 with the CSOP's Betting on Bright Futures event, which benefited the Hospitality Charitable Foundation.

The night was emceed by poker pro and PokerNews Podcast co-host Ben Ludlow, while others in attendance included Ingram, Morgan and Hodder, who listened to stories from fans about watching Friday the 13th Part VII: The New Blood, Jason X and other films in the cult horror franchise.

One interaction with the stuntman, who auctioned off signed hockey masks and sticks, was relayed to PokerNews.

Meanwhile, Zack and Miri Make a Porno actress Katie Morgan held the first-break chip lead to win a trophy and a goodie bag full of prizes. But it was Daniil Fedunov who went on to win the event, according to PokerReporting.com, after navigating a final table that included Ink Master Season 3 winner Joey Hamilton and Greg Van Stone, an executive at Palms Casino Resort.

The next event took place the following evening and was attended by Fat Mike, who recently retired after four decades of fronting the seminal California skate-punk band NOFX. The singer and bass player, a longtime poker player and proud supporter of the CSOP, battled snugly between PokerNews and PokerCoaching.com's Jonathan Little.

The event, which took place just off the Strip at The Stirling Club, benefited Habitat For Humanity in what CSOP founder and poker pro Matt Stout called a "full-circle moment" in his career.

Adult actress Rebel Lynn and Michael Russell won the Chip Leader and Rebuy trophies, and Lynn navigated her big stack all the way to the final table. Christian Griffin took down the event to win the trophy and $2,500, according to live updates.

There are several more CSOP events on the horizon, including Event #93: Hearts in the Crease at Via Brasil Steakhouse on Feb. 7.
