Find Out Which Poker Legends Turned Out For These Las Vegas Charity Events

Three charity poker tournaments took place last week in Las Vegas, and all three of them brought out stacked line-ups featuring celebrities, Poker Hall of Famers and top high-stakes poker pros.
The charity event-packed week kicked off with "Cops 4 Kids" hosted by the Charity Series of Poker (CSOP) on June 26 at The Stirling Club, and action continued a few days later in the same venue with Shannon Elizabeth's Rhino Rumble Poker Championship.
And the very next night saw Peak Humanity Charity Gala taking place, an $2,500 buy-in event hosted by poker commentators Henry Kilbane and Joey Ingram.
Poker Legends Play for Charity
The "Cops 4 Kids" event drew all of the CSOP regulars, including CSOP founder Matt Stout and adult film actress Katie Morgan, who made waves a few days later while playing in the World Series of Poker (WSOP) Main Event.
The trophy went to PokerNews senior editor Calum Grant. Grant refused to disclose his rebuy count, but we will congratulate the blind pig for finding his truffle and leave it at that.
But it was the next event, the one hosted by American Pie actress and OnlyFans crusher Shannon Elizabeth, that brought out the stars. There were three Poker Hall of Famers in attendance in Jen Harman, John Hennigan and Scotty Nguyen, as well as other poker pros like Manig Loeser and DJ MacKinnon.
And while the guest bounties wore medals around their necks, they had nothing on Olympic medalist and former pro boxer Audley Harrison, who posed for photos with fans in between hands.
Dance Your Heart Out
The week of charity action culminated on the rooftop of Palms Las Vegas with Peak Humanity Charity Gala, a charity event with the highest ratio of high-stakes pros outside of One Drop offerings. Some of the high-stakes pros in attendance included Kevin Rabichow, Matt Berkey, Seth Davies, Samuel Muller, Aleksejs Ponakovs, reigning GPI Player of the Year Punnat Punsri and Johan Guilbert, who split his time between the table and the DJ booth.
There was also three-time bracelet winner Santhosh Suvarna, who fired more than 15 re-buys and moved all in so many times that Gus Hansen declared him to be "the most aggressive player I've ever played against."
Other poker personalities in attendance included Nikki Limo, Xuan Liu, Mallory Klaus and 2023 WSOP Main Event runner-up Steven Jones. But it was poker player and gambling content creator On Tilt Nick who walked away with the five-figure first-place prize and the trophy. Check out Nick's interview on the PokerNews Life Outside Poker podcast to find out how a background as a boxer gave him his competitive gambling edge.
Surprisingly, the highlight of the night wasn't a poker hand, though it did take place at the poker table. No, the standout moment was when DJ Natty Rico broke out his saxophone and performed a searing solo while standing on a chair. Nathan Gamble then one-upped him by getting on a table and performing a jig that ended up being the perfect advertisement for Gorilla Gaming.
Gamble had just won his third bracelet in $1,500 Omaha Hi-Lo for a career-best $767,395, but it is that dance could go down as his best performance of the summer.
