Last year's award ceremony featured a surprise appearance from poker legend Phil Ivey, whose mother, Pamela Ivey, played in the tournament spoke to PokerNews about raising one of poker's greatest-ever players.

The event raised more than $60,000 for charity as Nate Gelinas of DexaFit Las Vegas won the trophy. Those who won CSOP awards include content creator Joey Ingram and Bar Poker Open and Gorilla Gaming.

The auction for the ceremony, which kicked off on Wednesday, includes a handful of art pieces and sculptures and glass seats for a Vegas Golden Knights game. More information about the auction can be found here.

When the CSOP set up its tables inside Via Brasil Steakhouse earlier this month, it was PokerNews' own Connor Richards who won the trophy after winning a flip against WSOP broadcaster Jeff Platt and Carolyn Patterson, the wife of two-time bracelet winner and fellow final tablist Tyler Patterson.
