PLO Grand Slam

The Diamond Poker Series is heading to Arena Casino Tirana this April with the PLO Grand Slam, a week-long Pot-Limit Omaha festival running April 15–22, 2026.

The series features eight PLO events and more than €2 million guaranteed, including two headline tournaments with €1,000,000 guarantees. The schedule is built almost entirely around Omaha formats, with a mix of PLO, 5-Card, and 6-Card events.

The biggest draw will be the €5,000 Million (€1M GTD) and the €10,000 Championship (€1M GTD), both expected to pull in strong fields of regulars from across the European PLO scene.

€5K Million and €10K Championship Lead the Schedule

The festival gets underway on April 15 with a €15,300 PKO High Roller, before moving into the first major tournament of the week.

The €5,000 Million (€1,000,000 GTD) runs across multiple days and will be one of the main talking points of the festival. With a seven-figure guarantee and multiple starting flights, it gives players several chances to build a stack before the final stages on April 20.

Not long after that wraps, attention shifts to the €10,000 Championship (€1,000,000 GTD), which plays down to a winner on April 22. With another €1 million guarantee, it gives players a second shot at a massive score late in the series.

Other notable events on the schedule include:

  • €2,200 5-Card Opener (€200,000 GTD)
  • €2,300 PKO One-Day Event
  • €2,200 6-Card PLO
  • €25,500 High Roller One-Day Event
  • €2,200 5-Card Double Board Bomb Pot

It’s a tight schedule with something running almost every day, which should keep the action flowing throughout the week.

€2 Million Guaranteed Across Eight PLO Events

This stop is clearly aimed at Omaha players. Every event on the schedule uses a PLO-based format, with variations like 5-card and 6-card games on the schedule for those who think four cards aren't enough.

With €2 million guaranteed across eight events, there’s a solid mix of buy-ins ranging from €2,000-level events through to €25,000 high rollers. Unlimited re-entries are available during late registration.

Early Registration Bonuses Available

There are also early-entry incentives available for players who take their seats from the start.

Those include:

  • 10% extra starting chips for players seated at the very beginning
  • 5% extra chips for players entering during Level 1
  • Unlimited re-entries during the late registration period
  • PKO bounty formats included in selected events

Free Stay Offer for Multi-Event Players

One of the more practical incentives attached to the festival is the Play & Stay offer.

Players who register for both:

  • €5K Million Day 1A
  • €10K Championship Day 1

will qualify for a free hotel stay covering the full festival period from April 15–22.

For players planning to play both major events anyway, it’s a way to reduce travel costs across the week.
