One of the most prestigious stops on the PokerGO Tour (PGT) is returning to Las Vegas next month as the Poker Masters series is scheduled to take place Oct. 12-23.
The Poker Masters series, taking place inside PokerGO Studio at ARIA Resort & Casino, will feature ten events with buy-ins ranging from $10,500 to $51,000 and culminating with the $51,000 NLH series finale.
PokerNews will be on-site throughout the series to live report the high-stakes tournament action.
Ten Events in Las Vegas
The Poker Masters series, known for awarding a coveted purple velvet jacket to the overall series champion, will kick off on Oct. 12 with Event #1: $10,500 NLH, which will be followed by five more events at the same buy-in level.
For the seventh event of the series, the buy-in will bump up to $15,700 and will stay there for Event #8 before increasing to $26,000 for Event #9.
The series finale, meanwhile, will see the buy-in nearly doubling to $51,000, making it the event to win for anyone looking to take home the purple jacket.
Last year's Poker Masters saw plenty of longtime poker players getting their flowers, like American pros Andrew Moreno (Event #3: $10,100 No-Limit Hold'em - $252,000), Darren Elias (Event #5: $10,100 No-Limit Hold'em - $280,000) and Chino Rheem (Event #5: $10,100 No-Limit Hold'em - $280,000), as well as PokerGO head honcho Cary Katz (Event #7: $10,100 No-Limit Hold'em - $223,000).
But in the end, it was 2024 GPI Player of the Year David Coleman who claimed the purple jacket after winning the Poker Masters 2025 $1,000,000 Showcase for $270,000 and finishing runner-up to fellow American pro Brandon Wilson in the series finale for $355,000.
