Biography

Artur Martirosian is a Russian poker player and three-time World Series of Poker bracelet winner. In addition to having over $25 million in live cashes, Martirosian is one of the biggest winners online at GGPoker.

Martirosian has live cashes dating back to October 2017, although he was primarily an online grinder at the time. In March 2020, he finished second in a $51,000 buy-in event that was part of the PartyPoker MILLIONS Sochi Super High Roller Series, earning $495,000. During the COVID-19 pandemic, Martirosian racked up nine cashes in the Poker Masters Online series at PartyPoker for a combined haul worth $1,278,974.

Martirosian's first live victory came in February 2021. He triumphed in the WPT Russia Opener for the equivalent of $41,417. A month later, he won the PokerStars EPT Sochi Main Event for $325,316. The Russian's live career began picking up pace, and it didn't take long for his first seven-figure prize to arrive. Martirosian reeled in $1,400,000 for a victory in a $100,000 Super High Roller Bowl event in Cyprus in August 2021.

In August 2022, at the PokerStars EPT Barcelona stop, Martirosian finished fourth in a €25,000 High Roller for €132,060 and won another for €540,990 a couple of days later.

Several more massive prizes came Martirosian's way before a runner-up finish in the $250,000 NLHE Super High Roller at the 2023 WSOP earned him $3,271,666. A few months later, he won $1,207,000 for a sixth-place finish in the $10,400 WPT World Championship in Las Vegas.

Throughout 2024 and the first half of 2025, Martirosian focused his attention on the Triton Super High Roller Series, helping himself to a dozen six-figure sums plus a $2,644,000 score in Jeju and a $1,080,000 prize in Montenegro.

At the 2025 WSOP, Martirosian won the $25,000 Heads-Up No-Limit Hold'em Championship for $500,000 and his third bracelet. His first bracelet came in $10,000 Heads-Up Championship online at GGPoker. He won the $800 NLHE Flip & Go Event at the 2023 WSOP Paradise festival.
