Biao Ding Poker History
Ding began playing poker in China before travelling internationally to play in the early 2020s. First to the European Poker Tour in Monte-Carlo, and then to Cyprus, where he won his first Triton High Roller Series title in May 2023.
In June 2023, he cashed at the WSOP for the first time, final-tabling the $100,000 High Roller, where he would finish sixth for $469,919.
Since then, Ding has played predominantly on the Triton Poker Series. His second title came in March 2024, defeating Phil Ivey heads-up to win a $50,000 PLO 6-Max event. He also recorded the largest cash of his career at this festival, finishing second in a $150,000 8-Handed event, for $2,870,000.
That year, he also went deep in the 2024 WSOP Main Event, finishing 69th for $140,000, and narrowly missed out on a second Triton title when he finished second in the 2025 Triton Jeju $100,000 PLO Main Event for $1,610,000.
Ding has a reputation for being equally strong across both No-Limit Hold'em and PLO, finishing fourth in the $50,000 PLO High Roller at the 2025 WSOP and bagging a third Triton title, and second in PLO, in September 2025 for $880,000.
