The roller coaster ride of Nicholas Lee continues, as he just doubled Andrew Hulme to once again drop below the starting stack. Picking up the action on the turn, Lee bet 5,300 into a pot of 16,000 out of the small blind and Hulme called in the hijack.
The fell on the river and Lee moved all in, Hulme snap-called for the last 12,100. Lee showed , which was no good as Hulme had flopped top set with the .
Day 1b is slowly but surely heading into the final stages with some 15 minutes left in the 9th level of the day. The screens show 107 unique players and 19 re-entries, with 68 players remaining.
Day 1c has entered level three with 93 players and blinds of 100-200, as well as a big blind ante of 200.
The flop showed and Thomas Muehloecker had checked to Jonathan Schuman, who bet 5,000. Muehloecker check-raised to 11,000 and Schuman moved all in for what appeared to be around 35,000. Muehloecker eyed the stack of his opponent for a few seconds and tossed in the chips for the call.

The Austrian had a lot of outs and, despite bricking the turn, got there thanks to the river.
"I will have another shot," Schuman said. Whether or not that will be in Day 1b or 1c remains to be seen.
Manig Loeser raised to 2,300 first to act and was called by Dominik Nitsche in the cutoff. On the flop, both players checked and Loeser check-called a bet of 1,800 on the turn. The duo checked again the river and Nitsche tabled , Loeser had that beat with .
Down to around 16,000, Sofia Lovgren ended up all in and at risk before the flop with the and she was called by Yangshou Hu with the . Lovgren picked up a straight draw on the flop and the turn was not much of a change. The river was a blank and the 888poker team pro was eliminated.
In a three-way pot that also included the two Finns Toni Ojala on the button and Tuomo Niskanen in the big blind, the latter check-folded a bet on the flop. On the turn, the stacks of the remaining two players went in and Ojala found himself behind with the , as his opponent had flopped the wheel with ace-five.
Ojala spiked the on the river to improve to a full house and soon after Ojala sent another player to the rail to boost his stack further. Among the other current big stacks is also Sebastian Jancso, who sits a few tables over with Dominik Nitsche and Sofia Lovgren.
Terry Jordon raised big to 3,000 and Fabio Miranda three-bet to 6,000, which Jordon called. On the flop, Jordon shoved for 14,000 and Miranda called with the for top pair. Jordon had some outs with his , but bricked off on the turn and river.
Raul Martinez is no longer the chip leader as he sent over a big chunk of his stack to Ciprian Paunescu. The Romanian was kind enough to provide the details, as he doubled through Martinez and sent short stack Seung Hun Ko to the rail.
According to Paunesco, he raised the button to 1,700 and Martinez called, Ko jammed only 3,600 in the big blind. Paunescu reraised to 7,600 and Martinez clicked it back top 22,600, which Paunescu called. On a flop, Martinez bet 9,000 and Paunescu called.
The came on the turn and Martinez checked the stack of his opponent, then moved all in for effectively 45,000. Paunescu used two time banks and called with , Martinez only had and Ko showed . A blank river kept the Romanian in the lead and he skyrocketed into the big stack.
"I used two time banks! Damn, what a call," he said, all smiles before taking a short break from his table.
