Dominik Nitsche and Chris Moorman were among the big names to jump into Day 1c and the current chip leaders are Raul Martinez and Domenico D'Amore. The latter won a massive pot against Manuel Bardon to get up to a six-figure stack.

Nine tables remain on Day 1b and another 60 players have already taken a seat in 1c with Conor Beresford among the notables.

Lightbourne Chips Up Further

Level 7 : 300/600, 600 ante

In a four-bet pot with 30,000 in the middle, Iaron Lightbourne and his opponent from Croatia invested another 10,500 on the {4-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds} flop. Akinnugba checked the {9-Clubs} out of the blinds and his opponent checked back to see the {J-Clubs} on the river. Lightbourne now bet 34,000 and his opponent reluctantly folded.

Miranda Doubles; Basdeo Takes From Niskanen

Level 7 : 300/600, 600 ante

The cards of Huseyin Houssein were already in the muck while he paid off the 23,200 of Fabio Miranda. The Portuguese held the winning hand with {J-Hearts}{J-Clubs} on a board of {10-Spades}{5-Spades}{4-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}{3-Diamonds} and confirmed that it had been a flip against ace-king.

The same table also features Andrew Hulme, who was not unhappy to be seated with Terry Jordon.

One table over, Tuomo Niskanen and Ramlal Basdeo battled with the former check-calling a bet on the {K-Clubs}{Q-Hearts}{9-Diamonds} flop. Niskanen bet the {J-Clubs} turn for 5,000 and Basdeo raised big to more than 23,000. Niskanen was covered by that and folded. Basdeo flashed the {J-Diamonds}{10-Spades} with the words "that was a bad turn card, I wanted the two of spades."

Garaway turned over the {10-Clubs}{8-Clubs} and Muehloecker had rivered a full house with the {A-Hearts}{7-Diamonds} to double.

Jordon Back in Action

Level 6 : 300/500, 500 ante

Carlos Sanchez Diaz once again used his overbetting to get value from an opponent and had a suited king for two pair to get pair off. The river showed {K-Clubs}{10-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}{5-Spades}{2-Hearts} and Sanchez Diaz faced a bet of 3,000. He raised to 15,000 and was called, revealing {K-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds} for two pair, his opponent mucked {K-Clubs}{Q-Spades} in disgust.

Last but not least, Terry Jordon had two players at risk on the {K-Spades}{J-Hearts}{6-Spades}{A-Spades} turn. His two opponents held {K-Clubs}{J-Clubs} and {Q-Clubs}{10-Spades}, prompting Jordon to call for a spade with his {J-Spades}{10-Hearts}. Sure enough, the {Q-Spades} came on the river to improve Jordon and he scored the double knockout.
