We arrived at the table with the board showing . The player in the small blind, as well as the player in middle position, both checked their options. Eric Assadourian then led out for 1,800, which was only called by the small blind.
The on the turn brought another check from the small blind before Assadourian threw out 4,800 in chips. His opponent tanked for over a minute, before finally folding his cards.
"Show the bluff," asked one player at the table.
"You think I'm bluffing?" replied Assadourian.
"Have I shown a bluff at all tonight? It was a good fold," said Assadourian.
The action started with Kahle Burns leading out 625 from under the gun, and finding four callers. The flop fell and both blinds checked their options, before Burns continued with a bet of 1,250. The play folded around to the small blind, who called, and the big blind folded.
The on the turn slowed the hand down, as both players checked to see the drop on the river. The player in the small blind checked over to Burns, who tanked for a minute, before placing in a bet of 3,050. His opponent sat motionless, before picking up 10,000 in chips and putting them out in the middle. Burns was surprised with the raise, and eventually relinquished his hand.
Paul Wilson just let us know how he eliminated Kristian Lunardi from the tournament. It started with him opening with a bet of 750 which was called by Lunardi on the button.
The flop came and Wilson continued with a bet of 825, which was called. On the turn, Wilson checked and Lunardi bet out 2,250 in chips. Wilson re-raised to 6,000 and was instantly met with an all-in for 12,000, which he snap-called.
Wilson:
Lunardi:
Lunardi had turned the queen-high straight, but it was behind to the nut-straight held by Wilson. The on the river was no help as Lunardi made his way out of the tournament floor, leaving Wilson to move up 26,000 in chips.
We just found Jackie Glazier, winning a pot pre-flop, and getting back up to her starting stack of 20,000 in chips.
She started the hand by opening to 650 from the hijack, before being met with a raise to 1,750. She quickly grabbed 3,100 and splashed it into the middle, forcing a fold from her opponent.
Glazier recently won the ANZPT Sydney PLO side event, just this past week, and will be looking to continue her good form with another deep run in the main event.
