In a battle of the blinds, Mamouni Smain raised to 25,000 from the small blind before Marlon Goonawardana made it 100,000 to go in the big blind. Smain thought before moving all in for 267,000. Goonawardana went into the tank before making the call.

The board fell to miss Pijpers and end his tournament in equal 32nd place as he was eliminated at the same time as Anthony Rafter. He'll collect AU$11,200 for his efforts.
