Heyu Li

Heyu Li started the action with a raise to 17,000 and was called three ways to see a flop of {3-Hearts}{4-Hearts}{J-Diamonds}. Everyone checked and the initial raiser bet 55,000 from under the gun. Shen Ming Yin called while Ke Jing Li then raised to 168,000 from the button. The player in the big blind folded and Heyu Li called all in for 158,000 with Ying folding.

Heyu: {A-Clubs}{K-Spades}
Ke Jing: {5-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}

The {5-Spades} on the river gave Ke Jing the pot and fellow Chinese Heyu Li, who holds the same and very common last name, hit the rail in 26th place.

Lee Crushed By Yu

Level 18 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante

The action started with Daniel Lee raising to 17,000 from middle position. He was called by Weijie Ye in the hijack as well as Ronald Chun Long Yu on the button and Weiyi Xhang on the big blind.

The flop came down {7-Clubs}{10-Spades}{2-Clubs} and the decision fell back on Lee who threw out a continuation bet totalling 19,000. Only Yu came along for the ride before the {k-Spades} dropped on the turn.

Lee thought about his decision for a moment before betting out 77,000 in chips. Yu then went into the tank for a minute before announcing all in for a total of 214,000 in chips. Lee took a few minutes to decide his next move, before finally making the call.

Yu jumped out of his chair in excitement, as he turned over his {2-Hearts}{2-Spades} for a set, knowing it was good. Lee reluctantly turned over his {a-Spades}{k-Clubs} accepting he had already lost the hand.

The meaningless {8-Spades} completed the board and the large pot was then pushed over to Yu. He now has 545,000 in chips. Lee drops down to 85,000.

Start Of Day Chip Leader Gone

Level 18 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante

The action folded around to Cheng Ho on the button who raised it up to 36,000. The small blind folded before XiaoHua Fu moved all in for his remaining 41,000. The bet was called and both players rolled over their cards.

Ho: {3-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}

Fu: {q-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}

The board ran out {8-Hearts}{10-Clubs}{9-Hearts}{a-Spades}{a-Clubs} to see Ho hold with his pair. Fu’s downward spiral finally resulted in his demise all within the first two hours of play.

Cooler for Cardyn

Level 18 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante

Yat Wai Cheng opened to 16,000 and was called by Choon Siang Tan as well as Nicolas Cardyn in the small blind. On the {8-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}{5-Hearts} flop, Cardyn check-raised to 128,000 and Cheng forfeited his continuation bet of 40,000. Tan had called Cheng's bet and also put in the extra chips to see the {2-Clubs} turn.

Cardyn immediately moved all in and Tan snap-called with {8-Spades}{8-Clubs}, way ahead of the {A-Clubs}{5-Clubs} of the Frenchman. The {Q-Clubs} river completed the board and Tan doubled for 144,000 chips.

Reagan Leman opened the action with a raise to 20,000 and Florencio Campomanes three-bet to 54,000 out of the cutoff seat. Leman called with little chips behind and moved all in after a flop of {A-Diamonds}{J-Spades}{Q-Clubs}. It was 109,000 to call and Campomanes was sent into a world of pain. Fu With 5 Big Blinds Left

Level 18 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante

The full betting action is amiss, but start-of-the-day chip leader Xiaohua Fu just tried to steal the pot on the river of a {10-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}{4-Clubs}{6-Spades}{A-Hearts} board by betting 55,000. Qu Liu check-raised all in out of the big blind and Fu snap-folded his cards with sheer frustration on the face.

Cheng Rivers Zhao

Level 18 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante

Picking up the action on a flop of {A-Clubs}{2-Spades}{7-Clubs}, Fan Zhao check-raised from 25,000 to 65,000 out of the big blind and Yat Wai Cheng made the call to see the {J-Diamonds} on the turn. Both players checked and the {7-Hearts} fell on the river. Zhao checked and faced a large bet worth 140,000 by Cheng to make a reluctant call.

Cheng tabled his {7-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds} for trips sevens and that scooped a nice pot and made him the new chip leader.
