JC Tran opened on the button to 12,500 and found only one caller in Bill Jordanou out of the big blind.
Both players checked the flop and when the fell on the turn Jordanou led out for 15,000. Tran called and when the landed on the river Jordanou led strongly again for 20,000. Tran then threw in a raise to 55,000, and with the action back on Jordanou, he moved all in for around 140,000 more.
Tran folded and slipped to 270,000, while Jordanou moved up to 210,000 in chips.
David Steicke has just doubled through Patrik Antonius in a massive pot on table 29.
After Steicke had called the preflop raise from Antonius, the flop read when Steicke led out for 18,000. Antonius reraised enough to put Steicke all in and he made the call tabling for the flopped straight and the lead as Antonius showed .
The turn and river bricked , and we have a new chip leader as Steicke is up to 430,000 chips!
JC Tran raised preflop to 12,500 and John Juanda was the lone caller out of the big blind.
They saw a flop of and Juanda checked to Tran who fired 15,000. Juanda made the call. The turn was the and again Juanda check-called the bet from Tran, this time for 24,000. The river landed the and both players checked it down.
Tran showed for a pair of tens and the best hand to collect another nice pot.
Chris Ferguson raised to 13,500 from under the gun and the action folded around to David Steicke in the big blind who reraised enough to put the short-stacked Ferguson all in. He made the call and the players revealed their holdings:

The board ran out and Steicke makes two pair, aces and queens, which is more than enough to better Ferguson's hand and send him to the rail.
John Juanda opened to 13,000 from under-the-gun and with Dan Shak next to speak, he made it 46,000 total.
As it folded back to Juanda he raised it up again putting Shak to a decision of calling 45,500 more. Shak's 30 seconds ticked down to zero and Shak threw his cards into the muck.
With that pot, Shak slipped back down to 142,000 as Juanda climbed back to 221,000.
The biggest pot of the tournament has just gone to Patrik Antonius at the expense of Chris Ferguson.
Antonius raised to 13,000 from early position, before Ferguson popped it up to 41,500 from the big blind. The action was back with Antonius who remained motionless as he announced another raise of the pot to 140,000. Ferguson moved all in and Antonius called.

The flop of changed nothing but the fell on the turn to give Antonius a two-outer to take the lead! As is the style of both players, they both incredibly remained absolutely motionless and didn't react in the slightest to this card! The river was the and Ferguson calmly cut out the required chips and slid them to Antonius.
Ferguson is not out, but he's now the short stack with only 35,000 chips as Antonius storms to the chip lead with 440,000.
After the frantic early action, it's taken well into the second level after the dinner break to lose our next player.
John Hennigan raised to 13,000 from the cutoff and Patrik Antonius made the call in the big blind. They saw a heads up flop of and Antonius led out for 18,000. Hennigan then popped it up to 53,000 before Antonius moved all in over the top. Hennigan quickly called.

Hennigan had his opponent in trouble but the on the turn gave Antonius additional outs to a flush. However he didn't need them when the landed on the river to give Antonius two pair and the pot. He's up to 220,000 as Hennigan hits the rail in 15th place.
