DeucesCracked... But Back Together Again

We've just gotten word from one of the DeucesCracked founders Chuck Danielsson that Aaron Wilt is now on 460,000 and Vanessa Selbst is on 620,000. The two are also seated directly next to one another. Is it possible for one pair of deuces to crack another pair of deuces? Of course it is. We'll let you know if one flushes the other one down the drain.

Tim Marsters Eliminated in 16th Place ($9,144)

Tim Marsters raised to 58,000 and Brendan Edmonds him all-in. Marsters made the call for his tournament life.

Marsters: {9-Hearts} {9-Clubs}
Edmonds: {K-Hearts} {J-Hearts}

Edmonds took the lead on the {J-Diamonds} {4-Spades} {2-Hearts} flop, catching a crucial pair to overtake the shorter stack. No nine on the {6-Spades} turn or {8-Hearts} river leaves us with 15 left.

A Puzzlement ...

Amer Akkari was eliminated in 22nd place and not, as was previously listed, John Zindo.

John Zindo wasn't even in today's field, which makes it all the more stranger. Thankfully, we were able to help solve the case.

Turns out that Zindo is a close friend of Akkari's. Akkari had Zindo's Crown Casino membership card in his pocket and it was this card he gave to Crown staff when he collected his winnings - not his own.

This was picked up by the PokerNews team when our blogger cross-checked the seating lists and it wasn't until Akkari received a phone call from the Poker Room that he realised his mistake.

No harm done though - the money went to the right man. Case closed!
