Michael Guts A Man

Michael Guttman has dispatched another opponent, the button shoved for 2,700 and Guttman was more than happy to call from the big blind with {A-Hearts} {A-Clubs}, miles ahead of the {J-Diamonds} {9-Hearts} that his opponent produced.

A board of {A-Spades} {7-Spades} {10-Hearts} {6-Hearts} {4-Clubs} was more enough to add another 3,000 or chips to Guttman's stack.

Pearson Crippled But Fighting On

Matthew Pearson might have a "chip and a chair" story to tell by the time this tournament is finished.

After being crippled to just 800 in chips, after his flush draw failed to deliver, Pearson successfully stole the blinds next hand, before finding a much needed double up.

Pearson shoved with {Q-Hearts}{9-Hearts} and was called in the small blind with {A-Clubs}{10-Hearts} and spiked the only pair on the {K-Spades}{K-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}{9-Clubs}{3-Clubs} board. He's back to 3,500 in chips.

Andrew Jeffreys Eliminated

Jeffreys: eliminated
Jeffreys: eliminated
Andrew "Adgee" Jeffreys was seen heading to the exits but we managed to get some details about how he was eliminated.

According to Jeffrey's recount, after calling Micah Martinovich's preflop raise with {j-?}{9-?} out of the big blind, the flop came down {8-?}{9-?}{5-?}, giving him top pair.

Jeffreys checked to Martinovich who led out for 600. Jeffreys then insta-shipped his 3,300 chip stack into the middle, sending Martinovich into the tank for several minutes before he eventually made the call, tabling {8-?}{5-?} for bottom two pair which held all the way.

Florian Calls, Wins, Doesn't Need To Show

After his opponent checked, former EPT runner-up Florian Langmann fired out a bet of 2,600 on a board of {K-Diamonds} {9-Clubs} {5-Hearts}. His opponent called after some thought before both players checked the {9-Spades} turn.

The river was the {8-Diamonds} and the German player's opponent now bet out 5,000. Langman silently stared at him and matched the bet which resulted in an instant muck. Not needing to show his cards either, Langmann quickly also put his cards in the muck and raked in the pot.
