Small Pots Count Too

Julian Cohen, sitting two off the button made it 750 to go preflop and was called by the man with two names, Nasir Nasir who was in the big blind.

flop and Nasir checked his option to Cohen who bet 1,100 into the pot. Nasir decided to come along for a turn card and the two saw the {10-Spades}

hit the felt, putting two spades on the board and opened up the possibility for a straight on the river.

Both players checked the turn, and the {3-Hearts}

hit on the river. Nasir checked for a third straight time, and after taking a little betting breather on the turn, Cohen decided to throw out 3,000.

Nasir folded and is now down to about 50,000 while Julian Cohen is now up to 31,000.
