Boatman Building

Level 6 : 200/400, 50 ante

Barny Boatman has chipped up over the last few hands after catching the exact same hand twice. The hand {k-Hearts}{k-Clubs}. The suits never came into play, but the heart-club combination does seem to favour Boatman.

Boatman first won a 3,000 chip pot to move to 7,000 after his kings held up against an opponents short-stack push holding {a-Clubs}{7-Hearts}.

Just a few hands later Boatman would take down a big pot holding that same hand, but this time spiking the {k-Spades} on the flop.

Boatman now has 15,000.

Stev0L Surviving

Level 6 : 200/400, 50 ante

Steve "Stev0L" Leonard is clinging onto life after he moved all-in for his last 2,450 holding {a-Spades}{j-Hearts}. One caller came from late position, Leonard ahead with his opponent holding {k-Clubs}{q-Clubs}.

The blanks all over the board and the {j-} on the river meant Leonard would double up and stay alive with 5,500.

Blinds: 200/400

Cohen Catches Good

Level 5 : 150/300, 25 ante

His brother may have been sent home earlier, but Julian Cohen is just clinging to life after managing to catch good, when all-in preflop holding {a-Spades}{q-Clubs} against an opponents {a-Clubs}{k-Hearts}.

The board which ran out {q-Diamonds}{5-Spades}{2-Spades}{6-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}, meant the queen on the flop meant Cohen would hang in there with 6,500.

Akenhead Aches For An Ace

Level 5 : 150/300, 25 ante

James Akenhead is no longer at the tables, instead left wondering behind the rail.

With three limpers coming before him, Akenhead thought it the right time to move his remaining 3,000 into the pot. The very last limper decided to donate to Akenhead's cause, calling and turning over {k-Clubs}{j-Clubs}. Akenhead held {a-Spades}{q-Spades}

As we didnt bury the lead in this post, we are sure you can guess that a {k-} was spiked on the flop. The Full Tilt Pro will have to come back another day to try and secure a Aussie Millions gold ring.

Boatman Battling

Level 5 : 150/300, 25 ante

Barney Boatman now sits behind a short stack after his {a-Hearts}{k-Hearts} could not get any help against an opponent allin, holding {10-Hearts}{10-Spades}.

Boatman now has just shy of 5,000.

English Rising

Level 5 : 150/300, 25 ante
Tim English firing out a three-bet
Tim English firing out a three-bet

Tim English is rising up the chip counts when a typical raise, re-raise, "im all in!" pot went down.

English: {a-Clubs}{a-Diamonds}
Opponent: {5-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}

Board: {6-Diamonds}{10-Spades}{8-Spades}{j-Spades}{j-Clubs}

Aces held up. One time!

English moved up to 26,000, while his opponent was left crippled. This very same opponent was seen on the rail just moments later. Not his day.

Doria Done

Level 5 : 150/300, 25 ante

An early position player made a raise to 600 and Stephen Lindeblad made the call. With the action on [Removed:415], he elected to move his last 2,350 into the pot. The initial raiser and Lindeblad made the call, with Lindeblad effectively all-in himself, leaving only 200 behind.

Flop: {a-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}

Not suprisingly Lindeblad would be allin on this flop. The players cards turned over with two more to come.

EP: {9-}{9-}
Lindeblad: {a-Hearts}{5-Hearts}
Doria: {j-}{j-}

Doria and Lindeblad would need some help or they would both be sent home.

Turn: {5-Hearts}

Is one more heart coming?

River: {j-Hearts}

Would we have asked if it wasnt?

Lindeblad's runner-runner heart was enough to keep him alive but send Doria home.

Aces Everywhere; Cohen Not

Level 4 : 100/200, 25 ante

Hugh Cohen has been sent to the rail, running into the pocket-aces of not one opponent but two.

Facing a raise to 700, Cohen moved all-in for his remaining 2,300. One player moved his stack all-in and with another caller it would be two tournaments on the line.

Cohen's {k-Spades}{q-Diamonds} would have to go up against {a-Spades}{a-Diamonds} and the last remaing aces, {a-Hearts}{a-Clubs}. Cohen would be drawing thin and couldnt garner enough luck to survive the day.

Interestingly as our PokerNews reporter walked from Cohen's demise, the table next to Cohen's could be heard ranting about the hand they were currently involved in, {a-}{a-} vs {a-}{a-}.
Chopping a pot with aces has to be better than running kings into them!
