"That's When You Know You're Running Well"

Level 16 : 3,000/6,000, 500 ante
Hon Cheong Lee
Hon Cheong Lee

Hon Cheong Lee just got three streets of value out of pocket threes, when one opponent called him down all the way on a board with two kings and a queen on it.

His opponent had pocket twos and refused to fold to any bet, including 30,000 on the river.

"That's when you know you're running well," said a third player not in the hand.

Lee is now in a dead heat for the lead with Niall Farrell as short stacks bust left and right and the line-up at payouts continues to grow.

Apostolidis Loses it All

Level 16 : 3,000/6,000, 500 ante

George Dionisopoulos shoved the button and Clement Lau called all in for 31,500 to see John Apostolidis call it off with the biggest stack and {A-Clubs}{Q-Spades}. Lau held {10-Diamonds}{10-Clubs} and Dionisopoulos flipped over the {9-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}. The baord ran out {3-Hearts}{6-Clubs}{J-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{10-Hearts} and Lau tripled, Dionisopoulos doubled up his remaining 47,000.

One hand later, Apostolidis shoved the small blind with {Q-}{8-} and Michael Addamo called with pocket sixes to win the flip.

The Madness Continues

Level 16 : 3,000/6,000, 500 ante

Another dozen players are currently awaiting their payout as the bustouts keep coming at an insanely quick rate. Among those to hit the rail was former November Niner Russell Thomas while Niall Farrell, Sinan Aydogan and Daniel Neilson are all floating at the top of the leader board.

Putt Busts to Brindley

Level 16 : 3,000/6,000, 500 ante

From under the gun, Graeme Putt moved all in for a mere few big blinds and was called by Ferenc Riech from one seat over. The 25,000 chips of Riech disappeared into the main pot when Wayne Brindley shoved massively for more than 280,000 from the big blind and flipped over {A-Hearts}{A-Spades}.

Putt's {A-Clubs}{Q-Clubs} didn't get there on the board {7-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}{3-Clubs} and Riech claimed that he folded pocket tens in the hand.

Min Cash for Chew and Liang

Level 15 : 2,000/4,000, 500 ante

Jessica Liang survived the bubble with less than one big blind after having to forfeit her big blind and then got her chips in with {J-}{7-} after a raise and a call. Graeme Putt was also in the hand as short stack and Liang flopped trips seven. However, Putt made a runner runner straight with {8-}{9-} and sent the Aussie to the rail.

Moments later, Stevan Chew also headed to the payout desk and a short line emerged with half a dozen seat open at almost the same time.

Boots Bubbles

Level 15 : 2,000/4,000, 500 ante

On the bubble, Niall Farrell folded to the shove of a very tight Aussie and then flashed {A-Diamonds}{Q-Clubs} to the disbelief of pretty much everyone at the table.

Two tables over, Stephen Boots was already all in with two other players still to act on the flop {8-Diamonds}{A-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}. Hon Cheong Lee isolated and then flashed the {J-Hearts}{4-Diamonds} for jack-high, Boots flipped over his {A-Hearts}{10-Spades} for top pair. The {Q-Hearts} on the turn gave Lee a gutshot and sure enough the dealer burned and turned the {10-Hearts} on the river to complete the unlikely straight and let the bubble burst.

Farrell On The River

Level 15 : 2,000/4,000, 500 ante
Niall Farrell
Niall Farrell

Kim Au picked the wrong time to put up some resistance to the constant barrage of Niall Farrell raises.

On an {a-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}{5-Spades}{2-Hearts} board with 100,000 in the middle already, Farrell led for 75,000 and Au called.

Farrell turned over the {7-Spades}{3-Diamonds} for the rivered straight and Au mucked. Farrell's bubble crushing continues and he's now sitting on 400,000.
