Bubble Crushing

Level 15 : 2,000/4,000, 500 ante

Niall Farrell is crushing the bubble.

He's min-raised seven out of the past ten hands and the players at his table have simply laid down to him.

On the bubble now, Farrell has picked up an additional 20,000 in the past few minutes without much of a sweat.

Busto!

Level 15 : 2,000/4,000, 500 ante

The following players busted before the bubble:

Gill Misses Out on the Money

Level 15 : 2,000/4,000, 500 ante

Oliver Gill took a coin flip close to the money with {9-Spades}{9-Hearts} against the {K-Spades}{A-Clubs} of Travis Rawlins and the latter had two over cards as well as a gutshot straight draw after a queen-high flop. The {10-Spades} river made the straight and Gill headed to the rail. Rawlins is among a few other players that are close to a quarter million in chips.

Brindley Makes the Huge Call

Level 15 : 2,000/4,000, 500 ante

It was a four-bet to 48,000 and Wayne Brindley stuck around against Ferenc Riech to see a heads-up flop of {J-}{10-}{6-} with two spades. Both players checked and then Brindley check-called a bet worth 9,600 on the {9-} turn. On the {2-} river, Brindley check-called 40,000 with just the {A-}{Q-} but that was good enough to rake in the massive pot.

Karlic Cracks Aces

Level 15 : 2,000/4,000, 500 ante

In the first level of play, Gerald Karlic four-bet jammed for 57,900 with {K-}{J-} and cracked the pocket aces of Jessica Liang. The trend of both players continued in the same direction as Karlic ran good and Liang was forced to play very careful with her short stack. Close to the bubble, Liang is down to a mere few blinds while Karlic is thriving.

Thomas Stays In

Level 15 : 2,000/4,000, 500 ante

After the hand was over, two players claimed they had folded pocket fives respectively pocket threes. Russell Thomas moved all in for 19,500 with the {A-Clubs}{K-Diamonds} and was called by an opponent with {10-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}. The board came {5-Diamonds}{3-Spades}{6-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}{A-Hearts} and Thomas doubled.
