Hinrichsen Short After Clash with Yoon

Level 5 : 200/400, 50 ante

The board just showed {10-Clubs}{6-Spades}{3-Hearts}{A-Spades} when Brian Yoon checked from the big blind to Andrew Hinrichsen who bet 2,600. Yoon made the call and on the river the {10-Hearts} hit.

Yoon checked again on the river and Hinrichsen checked behind.

Yoon showed {A-Clubs}{Q-Clubs} and raked in the pot saying, "That was a good river."

"A good turn you mean," Hinrichsen said with a smile, as he was left with just 11,500 chips.

Barbour Gets Some Back

Level 4 : 150/300, 25 ante

After having started out quite well, Natasha Barbour's trying to climb back up after we noticed she got knocked down to about 20,000.

The action folded to Barbour in the small blind, and she raised to 800. The big blind called and the flop brought out {Q-Diamonds}{J-Diamonds}{J-Hearts}, on which both players checked.

On the turn the {Q-Clubs} hit and Barbour fired out 800, which was called by her opponent. The river brought the {J-Clubs}, and now Barbour bet big, 3,500, and her opponent folded right away. Barbour's still below the starting stack, but she got some back after winning this hand.

Ashby's Eights Lose to Demicki's Nines

Level 4 : 150/300, 25 ante

Richard Ashby was just spotted on Max Silver's direct left and we caught him raising right away as well. Ashby made it 700 under the gun and no less than three people wanted action, as the button, small blind and big blind called.

The flop brought out {7-Hearts}{5-Spades}{3-Spades} on which both blinds checked and Ashby continued for 1,500. Poland's Daniel Demicki called from the button after which both blinds folded, and the turn brought the {5-Hearts}.

Ashby bet 2,500 on the turn and Demicki called again.

On the river the {5-Diamonds} hit and Ashby checked, followed by a pause and a check from Demicki.

Ashby showed {8-Diamonds}{8-Hearts} but that was no good against the {9-Spades}{9-Clubs} of his opponent.

Schwippert Gets a Double Up

Level 4 : 150/300, 25 ante

We just caught a Jan Eric Schwippert double up, and the Austrian pro explained to us what happened after it was all said and done.

The player in the cutoff raised to 800 and Schwippert called from his direct left, after which the big blind called as well.

The flop brought out {2-Hearts}{6-Spades}{10-Hearts} and the big blind lead out for 1,200, after which the cutoff folded and Schwippert called.

On the turn the {5-Spades} hit, and the big blind lead for another 2,800, and the Austrian player moved all in for 7,900. After a while Schwippert got called by {5-Clubs}{3-Hearts}, and his {A-Hearts}{10-Diamonds} was well in the lead.

The river completed the board with the {6-Clubs} and Schwippert recouped some of the chips he lost earlier today.
