Kanit Doubles Through Fast

Level 9 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante

Dietrich Fast raised to 20,000 on the button. Mustapha Kanit three-bet all in from the blinds for 184,000 and Fast called.

Mustapha Kanit: {9-Clubs}{9-Spades}
Dietrich Fast: {a-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}

The flop {10-Clubs}{6-Clubs}{2-Clubs} gave Fast the nut flush draw to eliminate Kanit. However, the turn {j-Spades} and river {j-Diamonds} bricked out, meaning Fast doubled up another player

One for Burns

Level 8 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante

Christian Christner bumped his stack after rivering a straight against Kahle Burns with the {9-Clubs}{8-Clubs} and then faced a raise to 20,000 by Fedor Holz. Christner called in the small blind, as did Burns in the big blind. On the {K-Hearts}{J-Hearts}{6-Clubs} flop, Holz continued for 27,000 and both opponents called.

The {8-Hearts} turn and {2-Diamonds} river were checked through and Christner showed {A-Clubs}{J-Spades} for a pair of jacks, which Burns had beat with the {K-Clubs}{Q-Spades} to claim the pot.

Toma Busts to Fast

Level 8 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante

After having lost a pot to Mustapha Kanit when facing a big river bet on the {K-Clubs}{5-Hearts}{2-Clubs}{9-Hearts}{7-Clubs} board, Claas Segebrecht was reduced to one third of the starting stack and moved all in for just 82,000 to claim the blinds and antes.

Right after in the next hand, Tsugunari Toma open-shoved for 138,000 in the small blind and Dietrich Fast called in the big blind.

Tsugunari Toma: {Q-Clubs}{10-Clubs}
Dietrich Fast: {A-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}

The {A-Hearts}{J-Clubs}{J-Spades} flop paired up Fast and Toma was in need of a king. Toma picked up more outs on the {5-Clubs} turn, but the {Q-Hearts} river was a blank to send the Japanese to the rail.

Greenwood Doubles Through Fast

Level 8 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante

Dietrich Fast raised to 18,000 from the cutoff and 2018 $50,000 Challenge winner Sam Greenwood three-bet all in for 133,000 from the button. The blinds folded and Fast took a quick glance at the clock before calling.

Dietrich Fast: {a-Hearts}{10-Spades}
Sam Greenwood: {q-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds}

There was a king on the flop, but also an Ace coming {k-Hearts}{a-Clubs}{8-Diamonds} with Fast moving ahead. The turn was the {9-Hearts} but the river {q-Spades} gave Greenwood the double.

On the next hand Greenwood opened to 18,000 and Mustapha Kanit three-bet to 58,000 on the button. Greenwood shipped it in for his remaining stack and Kanit folded.

Christian Christner: {j-Clubs}{j-Spades}
Kazuhiko Yotsushika: {a-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}

The board ran out {2-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}{3-Spades}{q-Spades}{4-Diamonds} with Christner making a set and Yotsushika missing his subsequent straight draw, and was eliminated.

Toma Jams Into Lim

Level 8 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante

Fedor Holz raised to 16,000 and was called by Jan-Eric Schwippert on the button and Kazuhiko Yotsushika defended the big blind. On the {K-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}{3-Clubs} flop, action checked to Holz and he continued for 25,000. Only Schwippert called and the {4-Hearts} fell on the turn. Now Holz made it 45,000 to go and Schwippert folded.

Over on the other table, Tsugunari Toma raised to 18,000 first to act and Michael Lim three-bet out of the big blind for 39,000, Toma called. The flop came {Q-Hearts}{9-Hearts}{2-Diamonds} and Lim continued for 39,000 and Toma tossed in a call. The {2-Spades} turn paired the board and Lim immediately moved all in. Toma counted out his remaining chips, 92,000 in total, and sent his cards into the muck.

Schwippert and Fast Build Stacks

Level 7 : 3,000/6,000, 1,000 ante

Joining the action on the {J-Clubs}{3-Hearts}{2-Hearts} flop, Claas Segebrecht checked to initial raiser Dietrich Fast in the cutoff, who continued for 10,000 and Segebrecht called in the big blind. The {7-Spades} turn was checked through and Segebrecht then bet the {Q-Clubs} river for 40,000. Fast grabbed raising chips and made it more than 150,000 to go, forcing an instant fold from Segebrecht.

Over on the other table, Jan-Eric Schwippert's raise to 15,000 was called by Christian Christner in the big blind. The flop of {K-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}{5-Clubs} brought a bet of 27,000 by Schwippert and a call. On the {10-Spades} turn both players checked before Schwippert's bet of 68,000 on the {7-Hearts} river took down the pot uncontested.
