Silver Doubles; Busts After

Level 8 : 800/1,600, 200 ante
Max Silver
Max Silver

Jesse Sylvia raised from the button and Max Silver three-bet, leaving himself 4,000 behind. Sylvia called and Silver bet 2,000 in the dark before the flop fell {Q-Diamonds}{Q-Spades}{4-Clubs}. Sylvia moved all in and Silver called with the {Q-Hearts}{Q-Clubs} for quads. Sylvia had {K-Hearts}{2-Hearts} only and the loud "all in and call" announcement by the dealer caused laughter from everyone at the table. Neither the {4-Spades} turn nor the {5-Hearts} river changed the outcome to see Silver double on his second bullet.

Soon after, though, Silver three-bet shoved for around 35,000 with the {A-Clubs}{4-Hearts} and Sylvia called with the {A-Hearts}{9-Hearts}. The board came {10-Diamonds}{8-Spades}{6-Spades}{J-Hearts}{K-Hearts} to let the kicker play and Sylvia joked "got him" before shaking hands with Silver.

Ben Lamb also sent an opponent to the rail after winning a flip with {7-Spades}{7-Hearts} versus ace-king on a board of {J-Spades}{6-Diamonds}{4-Spades}{9-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds} to boost his stack further.

Big Double for Westmorland

Level 8 : 800/1,600, 200 ante
Jordan Westmorland
Jordan Westmorland

Jordan Westmorland raised to 4,000 from early position and called a three-bet to 15,000 by Hon Cheong Lee in the small blind. Lee continued for 20,000 on the {Q-Spades}{9-Spades}{7-Hearts} flop and picked up a call before shoving the {J-Spades} turn. Westmorland quickly tossed in a single chip for the call.

Jordan Westmorland: {10-Clubs}{8-Clubs}
Hon Cheong Lee: {A-Hearts}{Q-Diamonds}

No card could change the outcome of the hand and the meaningless {4-Diamonds} river was a mere formality. Lee was all in for 2,200 right after with {J-Clubs}{6-Spades} and Martin Jacobson looked him up with the {A-Hearts}{2-Hearts}. The board came {J-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}{7-Clubs}{A-Clubs}{5-Spades} and that was it for Lee.

Hallaert Doubles Through Muehloecker

Level 8 : 800/1,600, 200 ante

Thomas Muehloecker: {a-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}
Kenny Hallaert: {k-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}

The board ran out {6-Clubs}{4-Spades}{q-Hearts}{j-Spades}{2-Spades} and the dealer counted out Hallaert's double of 18,600. Meanwhile Muehloecker sits on 130,000.

Harder Runs Out of Chips

Level 7 : 600/1,200, 100 ante

Hon Cheong Lee raised to 2,800 from the cutoff and Christian Harder reraised to 22,200, leaving himself 6,000 behind. Lee moved all in and Harder called it off to create the following showdown.

Christian Harder: {A-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}
Hon Cheong Lee: {A-Spades}{Q-Diamonds}

Harder was in need of help and picked up an additional flush draw on the {K-Spades}{7-Diamonds}{5-Spades}{6-Diamonds} turn, however the {9-Clubs} on the river failed to improve the American poker pro.

Second Bullet for Kanit

Level 7 : 600/1,200, 100 ante

Mustapha Kanit couldn't get much going on the first bullet and raise-folded against the shove of Thomas Muehloecker before sending over his stack to the Austrian soon after. Kanit is already back in action, though, while Muehloecker has a comfortable stack well above the average.

Alex Foxen's bet of 3,200 on the {5-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}{3-Spades} flop was check-raised by the player in the big blind, who made it 8,500 to go. Foxen called on the button and the action checked to him on the {8-Clubs} turn. Foxen bet 10,400 and that won the pot uncontested.
