On the three-way turn of , Russell Thomas bet 2,000 into two opponents and picked up one call. The
fell on the river to complete a possible back door flush and Thomas slowed down with a check. He immediately faced a bet worth 4,000 and tried some table chat to get any information before giving up the pot.

Andy Chan opened in late position and got three-bet to 1,500 by the small blind before Ludovic Geilich cold-called in the big. Chan fired in 4,925 and both players called, Geilich after some tanking. The flop came and Chan bet 4,500 when checked to. The small blind put in 11,000 or so, Geilich folded, and Chan called off his last 5,000.

With three people paying 1,400 each to see a flop, it was on Tsugunari Toma who bet another 1,400. Only one of the opponents stuck around.

Federico Butteroni scooped a big pot with set over set and his opponent was forced into an expensive fold to see the Italian and former WSOP Main Event finalist boost his stack to more than two times of what he started with.

A player raised and got one caller before Shurane Vijayaram three-bet to 2,200 from the button, and both players called.
The flop of was checked to Vijayaram who bet 3,700. The first player folded but the second check-min-raised to 7,400 and Vijayaram called.
The turn brought the and Vijayaram watched his opponent bet 12,300. The defending champion went deep in the tank.
"Show if I fold?" he asked. "I don't like folding that's the thing."
Eventually, he did fold, and the inquiry as to what both players had begun. Vijayaram is still just above starting stack.

Matt Berkey recently entered the tournament and hasn't been shy about mixing it up. In one of the first hands we saw him play, he called an open from late-position Upeshka De Silva and a player in the blinds came along for a flop. De Silva bet 625 and Berkey popped it to 2,300, earning him the pot without further resistance.

On a completed board of , there was already 25,000 in the middle and action was on Felix Schulze. The Berlin resident flung four T-5,000 chips in the middle, enough to put his opponent all in.
"Show if I fold?" his opponent asked.
"Only if you show," Schulze quipped.
It took Schulze's opponent more than three minutes before laying his hand down.
