Davies Jams Into Frey

Level 11 : 800/1,600, 200 ante

Kyle Frey opened to 3,800 and Scott Davies three-bet to 12,600 in the small blind, which Frey called to see a flop of {Q-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}. Davies continued for 9,200 and Frey called.

After the {J-Clubs} turn, both players checked and Davies then moved all in for approximately 47,000 on the {2-Hearts} river. Frey was covered by some big blinds and eventually elected to fold. The 2014 WSOP APAC Main Event champion dragged in the pot and bumped his stack back up while remaining below what he started with.

Karamalikis Doesn't Bite

Level 11 : 800/1,600, 200 ante

Fedor Holz bet 2,000 from the small blind on {8-Clubs}{j-Spades}{8-Spades} and Jonathan Karamalikis made it 4,800 in the next seat. Holz peeled and they checked to the river for a final board of {8-Clubs}{j-Spades}{8-Spades}{9-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}. Holz checked and Karamalikis checked back, opening {a-Spades}{3-Spades} for a missed flush. Holz had the quads: {k-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}.

Chu and Windsor Clash in Big Flip

Level 11 : 800/1,600, 200 ante

After a raising war, Hai Chu and Benjamin Windsor found themselves all in with nearly equal stacks in a pot worth 250,000.

Hai Chu: {A-Hearts}{K-Hearts}
Benjamin Winsor: {J-Diamonds}{J-Clubs}

The flip was as classic as they'd come and landed in Chu's favor: {9-Clubs}{A-Spades}{10-Spades}{8-Spades}{10-Clubs}. Windsor was left with just 1,200 after the hand and busted shortly after.

Sergi Eliminated

Level 11 : 800/1,600, 200 ante

Francesco Sergi started the day as shortest stack with fewer than five big blinds and stuck around for a long time, but his grind has eventually come to an end on the same table as Matthew Wakeman.

Rody Kaka had shoved from under the gun and Sergi called all in for less from the small blind.

Francesco Sergi: {A-Diamonds}{J-Spades}
Rody Kaka: {A-Spades}{Q-Spades}

Despite flopping best on {J-Diamonds}{7-Spades}{6-Hearts}, Sergi already grabbed his belongings and stood up from his chair as if knowing his fate. The {5-Spades} turn and {9-Spades} river indeed restored the preflop order and Kaka improved to a flush.

Holz Lets One Go

Level 11 : 800/1,600, 200 ante

The player in the cutoff raised and Fedor Holz called on the button.

The flop came {7-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}{2-Clubs} and the cutoff continued for 3,600. Holz raised in position to 8,200. The cutoff then came back with a three-bet to 17,000 and after some thought Holz folded.

Finger Calls it Off

Level 11 : 800/1,600, 200 ante
Martin Finger
Martin Finger

A player under the gun bet 10,000 on {2-Spades}{a-Spades}{j-Hearts}{5-Diamonds} and Martin Finger called on his left. On the {5-Spades} river, the first player instantly shipped all in to put Finger at risk for about 30,000. Finger called after about 30 seconds and his {a-Clubs}{j-Diamonds} was way good as he was up against a pure bluff: {k-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}.

Game Over for Wasylenko

Level 11 : 800/1,600, 200 ante
Eric Wasylenko
Eric Wasylenko

Eric Wasylenko had been patiently waiting for a spot to double up and finally three-bet all in from the button to pick up a call by initial raiser Artur Koren.

Eric Wasylenko: {Q-Clubs}{J-Hearts}
Artur Koren: {A-Hearts}{J-Diamonds}

The {Q-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}{6-Clubs} flop gave Wasylenko hope of a comeback, but that was all but destroyed when the {A-Spades} fell on the turn. A blank {5-Clubs} river changed nothing anymore and Wasylenko was sent to the rail.
