Glaser Slipping Further

Level 4 : 150/300, 300 ante

Benny Glaser raised to 725 from the hijack and his neighbor three-bet to 2,250. Action folded back to Glaser who opted to call and look at the flop.

Glaser checked on {10-Clubs}{3-Clubs}{q-Hearts} and his opponent fired 2,100. Glaser took about a minute, but he couldn't find a way to continue in the hand and folded, leaving himself with 8,300.

Sinclair Outkicked

Level 4 : 150/300, 300 ante

Jack Sinclair bet 6,500 into about 8,000 from under the gun on a completed board of {7-Clubs}{k-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}{k-Spades}{4-Spades}. The player in the cutoff called pretty quickly and Sinclair showed {k-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds} for trips. However, he was no good against {k-Clubs}{9-Clubs} for a better kicker.

Pekarek Puts Hero Cape On

Level 4 : 150/300, 300 ante

From the big blind, Jeremy Pekarek bet one big blind on a completed board of {5-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}{4-Clubs}{9-Spades}{10-Hearts}. His opponent on the button shoved for about the size of the pot, 6,300 into around 7,000. Pekarek was deep in the tank and he apologized to his tablemates, saying he needed 30 more seconds. Finally, he slapped in a chip.

The player on the button revealed {7-Spades}{3-Spades} for an airball and Pekarek showed {4-Spades}{2-Hearts}.

Huber on a Nub

Level 4 : 150/300, 300 ante

Stefan Huber bet 650 from late position on a {q-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}{j-Spades} flop, and a player in the big blind called. Huber fired much bigger with 3,000 on the {3-Clubs} turn, but he folded in short order to a shove for his last 4,600.

Ugly Hand Earns Warne Some Chips

Level 4 : 150/300, 300 ante
Shane Warne
Shane Warne

Three-way to a {3-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}{5-Spades} flop, Justin Liberto checked from the big blind and Kevin MacPhee fired 1,600 from the cutoff. Shane Warne called on his button and Liberto got out of the way.

The {4-Spades} turn and {j-Clubs} river were checked and MacPhee tabled {a-Hearts}{9-Hearts} for a no-pair hand. Warne flopped an open-ender with {4-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}, and while he didn't make a straight, the turn card made his hand the best anyway. While Warne added some chips to his stack, he's still below the starting point with around 23,000.

Sinclair Gets Paid Off

Level 4 : 150/300, 300 ante

Natalia Rozova had checked from the small blind with {6-Hearts}{5-Clubs}{a-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}{k-Spades} on the table and Jack Sinclair was betting 13,000 into the pot when the action was picked up. Rozova thought for a bit and then placed in calling chips. Sinclair had the good with {5-Diamonds}{5-Hearts} and Rozova mucked her hand, shipping the wager towards Sinclair who's now in the neighborhood of 65,000.

Zhang's Bluff Ends Up Netting a Double

Level 4 : 150/300, 300 ante
Michael Zhang
Michael Zhang

Michael Zhang had a freshly doubled stack of about 60,000 in front of him, and the players at the table had him relay a wild hand. According to Zhang, he attempted to squeeze from the big blind with a bet of 4,000 after an open to 700 out of middle position and a slew of calls behind. The small blind back-raised to 10,000, and Zhang shoved for 30,000.

The small blind opted to look him up with {6-}{6-}, and Zhang could only muster {q-}{9-}. However, the board ran out {a-}{7-}{7-}{a-}{j-} to give Zhang the pot with queen-high.

His neighbor exacted a small measure of revenge a few hands later, again back-raising to 5,000 when Zhang made it 1,800. Zhang peeled but folded to a bet of 10,000 on the {q-Hearts}{10-Spades}{k-Diamonds} flop.
